    @Cmicasa the Great Different strokes for different folks. Blondes, dishwater blondes just do nothing for me. Brunettes are a nice, asian are hot. Park Min Young I think is Beautiful And back on topic of Auto's while too small for me, I do have to say that the Kia Cub is a cute CUV that I think would do well in the global market.

    I know some are excited that this rebadge Mazda Miata is out there giving Fiat some much needed quality in their auto line. Yet the car is just Meh to me. Small, tiny and just does nothing to excite me. Miata is the same way. So many other exciting cars to drive over this.

    Very Cool My only concern is how much of an increase in cost will it add for just a suspension / looks package. Converting to RHD will also really jack up the price I would think. Gonna be interesting to see what they create.

    I thought it was common sense to not marry your relative, be it first, second or third cousin. Do some states actually make you get tested before you get married? Did not know this if it is true.

    One has to wonder why bother with the V6 when the Turbo 4 Hybrid system will out gun it at every level. Just offer the base 4 and hybrid system. One wonders what they will do for the interior which is a bit tight for bigger people as they also do an outside refresh. Will the Cherokee get new slimmer seats so you gain room inside?

    Right now I say 50 to 100K miles as I am seeing more and more Turbo motors especially Audi that are smoking with burnt rings and over all suck. My history with early turbo's has not been good at all and I see plenty of turbo Subaru's that do not seem to last past 100K. I acknowledge that some on this forum have had long life in a turbo, especially subaru. For me, not so. I will acknowledge that we have gotten better with creating longer life components that go into a ICE auto. Diesel has shown that turbo's can go long life, but have not seen it in regular Petro auto's yet.

    True and yet we are seeing more and more Billionaires that are going EV. So I would have to say even they are questioning the need of such a big guzzling engine.

    Largest Source of Greenhouse Gas? Transport Sector In 40 years of tracking, the biggest source of greenhouse gas pollution is no longer power plants. Transportation has this distinction covering boats, planes, trains and automobiles. According to the latest government data, the U.S. has made a massive switch from Coal powered electricity, the dirtiest form of power generation to natural gas, wind and solar reducing since 2000 this sector leading our greenhouse gas production to making it equal to the transportation sector in 2016 and finally having the transportation sector surpass it in 2017. Health being one of the biggest benefits of this switch as the big change has immediate improvements to health for those that are burdened with heart disease, asthma and cancer. With this gain, it seems the US is poised to have what wind, solar and natural gas did to the power generation sector with EV or electrical vehicle changes doing to the transport sector. Already we have Alaska Airlines using Biofuel to power their jets, thus giving a nice french fry aroma to the plane's exhaust. The Transport Topics story says that as electrification of the U.S. auto fleet begins, we could see the two biggest greenhouse gas pollution sectors converge as EV auto's pull their power from the grid. This is expected to have huge gains in Europe as they roll out their XFC or Extreme Fast Charging network which is already being challenged by the auto industry that has banded together to bring out an XFC version 2. Seems a 350 kW charging network will not deliver the expected 350 mile charge in 15 minutes or less.     V12 is a dead dog that should end with the current run. Majority of people do not want that gas guzzling engine. On top of it, we are already seeing superior performance from smaller engines even if gas cost is not an issue and superior performance from EV powertrains. So I agree with the AMG top dog, V12 is dead and time to move on. An A35 is interesting, wonder if it could beat a Ford Focus RS. If they are going for only the VW and Honda, then it is already losing.

    @Drew Dowdell @William Maley Hey guys, can you possibly shed some light on what ccap41 and I are wondering about? Do you have any insight into this or press releases that I cannot seem to find on GM web site about why the awesome ATS or CTS platform is not able to be used for the CUV products? I would think it would make total sense to have a universal platform that could cover these two segments much the same way GM trucks and body on frame SUVs use the same platform.

    I would love to understand the difference between a car platform and a CUV platform. It would make sense to me to have a platform that could cover both from an investment standpoint. I also wonder?

    As has been proven by so many companies that FWD/RWD is not an issue for the Luxury and mid market as we see plenty are sold every year worldwide of the FWD CUV design. If anything AWD is now considered part of the upper Luxury world for those that can afford the higher fuel costs.

    How is it grouped with Chevy Trucks? They have their own Electric section and it is 2 tabs away from the trucks tab. Or are you talking about their www.gmfleetorderguide.com site which does put ALL SUV,CUV and Trucks together under their Alternative Fuels section. Totally understandable. Fleet sales are very different than retail sales.

    I was curious and looked up their current 4 platforms and MB is stating that the MHA is was is used for the GLE, GLS and E class sedan unless all the news companies who reported this info is wrong. Just going by the news reports.

    Who Cares? MB uses their car platforms to build all their CUVs. So Guess based on your statement of the Escalade is a cheap SUV because it is built on a truck platform or the GM900 series then MB CUVs are even cheaper since they use the low class car platforms to build them. C Class MRA platform is also used to build the small CUVs. E class is on MHA as is the mid size CUVs. Seems the G-Wagon is the only body on frame SUV they offer and with that you get next storage section, plastic ring with next bottom as cup holders. That is better than the heated or cooled cupholders in an Escalade?
