I do not know. Our federal and provincial EV rebates were restored in the late spring or beginning of summer some time after taking a 6 month or so hiatus because the program was very successful and money run dry earlier than predicted. You know, took time off for the government coffers to be replenished so the program could go on... Only thing I know is that when I bought my cars, or any dealership that I tried to talk money with, I wasnt able to negotiate price. I paid sticker for both cars. At least I didnt pay mark-ups. Wasnt going to either though. I did get a measly 2 free oil changes on both cars so 4 free oil changes and a couple of hundred bucks off for each vehicle on winter tires so there is that. All to say that, maybe in 2025 things are different and rebates and price negotiations are back in favouring the customer, but in late 2023 and early 2024, the consumer was not the dominant one. This sentiment should have been read as a jokey one. Picture me saying this like this guy's reaction. And hopefully you also have the same reaction as well: "Like...wtf is Olds sayin??? Oh I get it...he tryin' to be funny. What a maroon... (Ha ha ha claps hands in disbelief)"

Whatever do you mean? I thought that Toyota cars are trouble free... But you are right, Id be regretting it long term as I am gonna keep this car as long as I can. In all honesty though, but sarcastically too, why would a creaky and rattily interior be a bother to me? I grew up on and enjoyed GM cars of the 1980s and 1990s... Bought new. Like always. I went to visit KIA, briefly. They had no cars available for an immediate purchase either. I didnt stay to ask for more information. Elantra N would have been of interest...but in reality, too small. I wanted to see how a Sonata or K4 would have been like, but same as KIA or anybody else for that matter, Hyundai had no cars available for immediate delivery. The only EV I wanted to buy, for my wife, was the Equinox. But...the base Equinox was not available for purchase yet and the higher trims were 6 months waiting period. We could have waited for an Equinox, well, I didnt have a problem waiting for it, she did though. Well, she didnt want to spend 50-60 thousand Canadian big ones on an EV. Or any car really. As for me me...I wanted the Equinox for her, she didnt mind the Equinox, she liked it, but for me me, there was/is a huuuuuge problem with the Equinox EV...its that its an SUV. Me dont likey SUV. The Charger EV was not available for sale, then. I wouldnt have considered it though as it kinda sucks as an EV. Its not bad, but it aint good. As we speak, the inline 6 is available to buy, but lordy lordy lordy, it must be expensive as heck. So...like I said, Accord or Camry. I stayed with the Honda family. Wife has a Civic. I have an Accord. It pains me that I have turned Japanese. But hey...what is it I say? Elbows Up???!!!

Why does a chicken coup have 2 doors? Because if it had 4, it be a chicken sedan!!!

I was asked to join the Flat-Earth Society. They said it would broaden my horizons.

I now own an Accord. I have mixed feelings over its styling. Yeah...I would agree that it would be the best looking affordable sedan today. I mentioned that if I was buying a sedan now Id be considering the new gen Camry. From the general analysis it seems that now, gulp, 'tis the Camry that is more of a driver's car. This would be the only reason why Id consider a Camry now. The Accord drives nice. Its a comfy car. Its less of a driver's car than the TL that is for sure.

I didnt even know this car existed before I posted it. I was looking for Audi A7s to post when I came across these ones. And the reason why I was looking to post A7s is because I find the A7 rear C pilar slope to be similar to the Alfa Romeo Alfetta and this current gen Accord to which I wanted to show case this in the thread. Google though, showed me pics of that Audi and I fell in love with it that I had to post it. And I immediately erased my bias that Audi mimicked the rear C pillar from the Alfetta. These are the pics that introduced me to the Audi 100 coupe S But the Accord on the other hand...mimics the A7 (RS7 pictured above) quite nicely.

It turns out that the the CEO at Jack Daniels might be thinking differently about Canadian sales of his whiskey... I do not know how much money this equates to for Jack Daniels. Might be as insignificant as that CEO first suggested. 2% in over Jack Daniel sales he said... Sales to Canada did drop 62% though. Hey, might not be enough for him to cry. But as the rest of the world stands with Canada and they too boycott Jack Daniels, sales declined in Europe as well. Not by much, but the trade war effects with Europe are just now going to have an affect. ... Give this some more time though, like when people drink with a purpose...like Christmas, and we will probably see those tears come out from that CEO and corporate owner of Jack Daniels. Sales of Jack will probably decline in the US at this time \as people wont be able to afford luxuries such as alcohol Christmas in the US wont be so merry Im afraid. Remember, Trump did say that you might be able to afford just one doll. Millennials and Gen Zers do not drink alcohol because of crazy Tik Tok trends and healthier lifestyles will soften the blow from reality I guess... https://ca.news.yahoo.com/company-behind-jack-daniels-says-080000061.html Phoque him Phoque Jack Daniels Phoque American distillers Phoque the US ELBOWS UP!!!

He is missing since Tuesday apparently. Well, since media has spotted him visually... What is he up to? Hiding in a bunker contemplating how to off himself and who is to burn his and Eva's, I mean Melania's body? He did say that he wished his generals were more like Nazi generals.

Oh yeah... I forgot. Stellantis dismantled the department. Some engineers from the SRT division (if you will) were taken to work for Stellantis' EVs including Kuniskis. And since then, Kuniskis is now head of Ram? Lots of movement in a short period of time...

I think the reliability mess is with the 5.7 Hemi and the DoD part of it. The 6.4 SRT is bullet proof. And I havent heard any problems with the Pentastar. Maybe the transmission? Yeah...the earlier SRT 300s were a stepping stone for the Hellcat versions. I get it why they stepped back from offering a hotter version 300 1. 300 styling was becoming stale at that time and sales were slipping and preferred to revamp the Charger instead. While doing so, because Dodge, the need was more pressing to offer potent muscle car power for the Challenger to outdo the two other pony cars from Ford and GM. 2. The 300 was not a muscle car. It was marketed as a luxury car with style. Mopar probably was not interested in re-inventing it as a muscle car and especially when they had the 4 door Charger and 2 door Challenger in their stable all ready to fill that niche. 3. I guess the idea of of expanding SRT did not cross their minds even THOUGH they offered a SRT 300 anyway. I guess they didnt want to go toe-to-toe with Cadillac Vs.

Why I am surprised at what you could accomplish with these apps? I am not oblivious nor naive about it. I guess its because I do not use it. That would be nice to store my CD and LP collection on iTunes. I distinctly remember telling you that I have lots of Greek LPs. 33s and 45s that I wanted to digitize. I havent done so yet. Maybe its about time to get with the program???!!! I am STILL pissed that I couldnt buy an Equinox EV 2 years ago when I changed both cars. My wife's and mine. I really really like the Equinox EV. My wife too. It would have been a fine addition to our family needs. Of course I would have still bought a non-GM sedan for myself. Maybe an Acura Integra or Civic Si instead of the Accord? Or even a new gen Camry???!!! (Yowza...what a terrible thought this is) -
1. Canadians are not missing, not crying that we cant buy American booze. And even if American booze came back on Canadian shelves, Im certain that ALL Canadians would just skip American booze... 2. Id rather American booze stay off the shelves rather than just a regular boycott. Why? Its a VISUAL reminder for ignoble, uncouth, oafish commoners such as this Christopher Swong fella. And it seems to piss him and others like him off even more. It takes the control right out of their hands. It gives them no hope whatsoever. 3. This mess that the Trump supports created also shows that Canadians do not need American distillers from the south. It shows that distillers from the south need Canada. 4. All the gaslighting he does is just like a child throwing a tantrum. Boo freakin' hoo Swong. Phoque distillers from the south Phoque the US

I love those last 300s. Probably my favorite of all the 300s in history. Then would be the '55 and then follwed closely by the '61 and '62. Sometimes I like the tailfins, sometimes I do not. Mopar Hellcated everything. Too damned bad they didnt Hellcat the 300.

Thanx for that info too. Makes sense... GM has a monetary tie-in with Time/Warner... LOL Pandora? Sounds like a great app. But Im not the one to pay for music that I already own. As far as music that I do not own. Well, I am waaaaaaay past that stage in life where I need to own music. Or rent it. I got plenty of bought music. All the standards possible. New standards? Again, I am waaaay past that stage. PS: I never understood the renting of music. But I do see where this technology fits in with the modern world. And if one has adapted to it, it will suck if one cant use it in their car when all of the other devices they own can have access to it. A car nowadays is an extension of one's personal smart devices. -

I dont know as I dont use these things. I prefer Google Maps over Waze but that is as far as automotive style apps for CarPlay or otherwise that I have an opinion for. Radio is still my choice of entertainment in my car. Albeit now its AM radio. Sports talk radio. I have a shyte ton of CDs that I have MP3ed on a USB that I use in my cars. I also used a youtube downloader to MP3 on said USB stick. In other words, I got a shyte ton of music on my USB stick. Personalized playlist with I dont know how much music. Hundreds of songs. Greek, disco, rock. Ill go weeks before I listen to the same song twice in my car. Youtube at home is where Ill learn about new music. Since I do not have an urgent need to learn about new music, youtube is effective enough. But thank-you for informing me about what GM is doing as I had NO idea. Ill agree, it sucks that they gate keep this way. I know you travel a lot, and Im assuming this app is worth gold to you. If you cant replace this app with a worthy one, yeah...I get the frustration!!!
