  1. Hey, justify it however you'd like.
  2. Speaking of diecast, @Cory Wolfe, I've been into building models for the last year+. This is what I've built and the ones I have up next. I'm currently building an Enzo that I'm about finished with.
  3. I finished my Beretta model. Well, this wasn’t so much if a built as it was just a paint job as it was an old dealer promo model that I painted to look as close to my first car as I could. It has the same body as my Z26 had but different wheels.
  4. Absolutely. There are just too many variables to draw such a line out of blindness and ignorance. Both extremes have proven to be a-holes about it and there are very few that are in the middle or even willing to have a civil discussion about it.
  5. I'm not remotely saying I'm 100% risk adverse, because that also isn't possible. The low numbers of issues of the vaccinated? I never said I was worried of getting some illness/having and issue from a covid vaccine. Like I've already said, I'm taking in information, evaluating what's out there, and making decisions. I'm not some anti-vaxxer thinking the government is out to track me (while carrying a phone that already does that). Heck, I've recently applied for a Federal job that requires me to be vaccinated. I'll get vaccinated if I get the job. It isn't a huge issue to me, like some have made it. I'm just glad my parents both got vaccinated over the summer as they're obviously older (mid-60's) and my dad has a form of lymphoma (in remission for a few years now). They are the pretty right wing, super pro Trump (sorry - politics), that would be the kind of anti-vaxxer that I'd be worried about. I'm just glad they got it.
  6. Coming from somebody who rides a motorcycle (I love to as well) and shown riding without a helmet. I don't think talking risk assessment with a motorcycle rider and has ridden w/o a helmet is really going to persuade me.
  7. We all do, everyday. Hence why I work out regularly, eat fairly healthy(certainly won't lie and say I eat perfectly), and take my regular vitamins.
  8. Don't worry, I'll be sure to let you guys know when I get it and start feeling terrible. I guess I wouldn't be able to tell you after I pass but I'm Facebook friends with Drew so he can inform you. I'm sure he'd see something. Not ignoring it. Just because I haven't been vaccinated yet, doesn't mean I'm ignoring new and incoming information. IMO, that is absurd you'd tax people based on a covid vaccination status.
  9. Then why even mention that irrelevant information, saying it "disagrees"? I'll let you know in a few years.
  10. Do you have statistical proof that 25 year olds athletes are dying while 95 year old smokers are getting it and living their best life?
  11. Don't give me that "those are your opinions, that age doesn't matter" https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid_weekly/index.htm
  12. I most certainly was.
  13. Yes, there are anomalies but the vast majority of both of those go in the opposite direction.
  14. Exactly. Yes, I very much expect to get it, if I haven't already been asymptomatic sometime within the last two years.
  15. With my age, weight, fitness level, I don't feel like it will benefit me anymore than when I finally get it (if I haven't already come across it and been asymptomatic). Natural immunity. I wear my mask wherever asks me to, I don't throw a fit. It isn't a big deal to just abide by private business' requests. It's way easier to just wear a mask than throw a fit. I don't even really complain about wearing one. I obviously don't love to, nobody does, but it is far from a big deal to me. Oh I know. It isn't a big deal to me though.
  16. And still sells in abysmal numbers. That's the point. It isn't a bad vehicle because its sales numbers are abysmal.
  17. I've never taken a COVID test nor have I been vaccinated...
  18. I'm assuming I'm one of those "touting the need for dealerships" but I really don't think I'm in that boat. I've only been stating the "suggested" part of the price and that it's just supply and demand in a "free market". I don't exactly enjoy dealership experiences. I've never had a bad one but I've also never had a great one. If Ford is going to crack down on dealerships adjusting prices up, I'm all for that as well. I've never said i want dealerships to mark prices up, just that I understand WHY they're marking prices up.
  19. Yet they sold every single one that they made. Guess that fact never occurred to you. And their worst selling SUV still sold more than anything out of Germany, mainly because the biggest player doesn’t even have an EV SUV yet. Kind of like the G Wagen.. Sells like crap so it's the worst, right? *eyeroll*
  20. I think his point is there isn't anything that comes up when you search for that. I googled it and came up with zero spy shots or articles on it other than Insideevs.com saying they should make one.
  21. So one state and only since 2015, that's SUCH a small percentage of homes. Federal and state rebates means we're still the ones paying for it.
  22. I think that all depends what demand looks like. If they can make a business case for a single cab, 8' bed, they'll make one. If there's resistance in the commercial market towards EVs, they may hold off longer yet.
  23. I think it's a safe measure to say almost all homes are "old", built prior to 2020 or whenever these 220v garage requirements become standard. This was more getting to the point I mentioned yesterday in that public charging completely negates any fuel savings you'd have buying an EV. If you don't have a charger at home, you're not saving anything. There's only real potential for savings if you're charging at home. Which, that would be 99% of my charging. I'd only consider an EV if I can charge it at home for cheap.
