What, exactly, is the difference? You hope he dies but you don't wish he dies? That's some semantic BS if I've ever read it. It's just wild to me that you'd "hope" somebody dies. Maybe he's a horrible person and I should hope for the same or maybe he's a great person and doesn't deserve your menopause-rage.

What in the fck are you talking about?

I know absolutely nothing about the guy, but wishing he was dead is pretty messed up.

There is also a Kona Electric(261 miles range) and Niro EV(253 miles range) that start at 33k and 39k, respectively.

I looooove stuff like this! I wish I had a model of every car I've owned.

It isn't nearly as cut and dry as you're making it out to be. Below is a much better breakdown of how it was actually funded (Lumen Field, at least). A breakdown of the funding package: $130 million private investment led by Paul G. Allen $127 million from new, sports related lottery games, similar to the Mariners’ baseball-themed scratch games $101 million in sales taxes collected in King County attributable to events in the stadium/event center $1 million per year of in-kind advertising for the new lottery games will be provided by Paul G. Allen $56 million from facility admission and parking taxes $15 million from extending King County’s share of the existing hotel-motel tax Paul G. Allen agreed to pay for any construction cost overruns All excess stadium revenues will fund youth athletic facilities throughout Washington State in addition to a $10 million contribution from Paul G. Allen $14 million of the public contribution will come from interest earned on the $50 million private contribution from Paul Allen As an added measure, the debt on the Kingdome was retired, freeing property taxes for other purposes The way that reads, to me, is the sales tax is only for those who are attending events at the stadium. If that is correct, it seems like a fair way to publicly fund the stadium, by its users.
-
I agree that billionaire owners should never get public money for their stadiums/arenas/fields. With that said, I love sports. I follow the NFL, MLB, NHL, NASCAR, and F1 very closely. However, not every stadium is funded by public money and certainly not 100% of the bill is public money. Three NFL stadiums were paid for by private money.

I'll stand by all of them...except one... 🤷♂️

Using Google Maps isn't exactly an "old fashioned way"... CarPlay for maps, be it Apple Maps or Waze, is just far too convenient to not use, IMO. Also, you don't even need to look at the screen. You can just listen to the directions without ever taking your eyes off the road.

I prefer the Hyundai's exterior styling quite a bit more, but this is still a handsome sedan. Ideally, I much prefer the refreshed Genesis more, too.
-
It also has less than 6k miles on the odometer…
-
In all seriousness though, the Hyundai Genesis R-Spec 5.0 is a really cool car. I saw one of these the other day and completely forgot they existed prior to Genesis being its own brand. I do love me a large sedan with a V8 under the hood.

You love it. I know you do. Behind that gumpy, old man persona you're putting off, you love the idea of becoming an American. You'd be first in line to get a new ID with the United States of America on it!

I hope Trump takes over Canada, just to see how much lower Olds' can tumble.

Not true. You're a total d!ckhead now. One can't ask a question to have a simple conversation without you making a list of why you don't have to answer the question. This is a place to discuss things. If you don't want to discuss things you're posting, why are you even here?

How is it a wakeup call? It's been in production for 3 years already. Are any being sold here? They aren't, to the best of my knowledge. Peak charging of 120Kw? That's pretty awful, right?
-
This guy is pretty absurd. "it needs more parts" to make it more reliable? "you can just tell by how small these transmissions are that they're under designed. there's not a whole lot of parts in here that make them work." "...In my opinion you need big durable and maybe even more parts to make these transmissions last more than 100,000 miles." I'm not trying to defend the transmissions. I'm sure he has them in the shop all the time with failures, but his reasoning is possibly the most BS there could be. 100% made up. Has he ever seen a Rav4 transmission? Uh oh... it's tiny, too! CRV transmission? Also small! He probably also doesn't know that there are very few vehicles that DO have transmission dip sticks anymore. i've wasted an awful lot of time on this guy's video. 🤣🤣

My sister went to the University of Illinois (Champagne/Urbana) so I went there a handful of times. I haven't gone back since she left though. There's really no reason so, hahaha.
-
Champagne/Urbana? I would for a car purchase, but that's like 2.5 hours away. I'll make a drive for the right car at the right price. I drove to Indianapolis for my current Navigator. That's about 4-4.5 hours away. I drove to Chicago for my C350. That's also 4-4.5 hours away. I drove past Louisville for my Mach 1. That was about 5 hours.

OMG, I get the term "ranked voting" now. After reading this, it's almost silly that i didn't know what it was until now, hahaha.
-
Understandable, and I would LOVE to actually visit Canada one day. I will get there. I just don't know when. For what it's worth, Illinois is not a red state.

Come down to middle of America. I'll buy you a beer here and we can find a classic car show to roam around. It isn't as ugly as you portray it to be. I'm sure it's also beautiful in the PNW where @G. David Felt lives and the Pittsburgh area where OUR leader resides, @Drew Dowdell. There are so many good people from these parts. Don't let the internet make you think everybody everywhere is jacked in the head. The internet can be very powerful and can portray many things that are skewed. There are certainly bad people everywhere, but I don't think there are as many bad people around as you think.
-
Thank you. You didn't necessarily answer it wrong. Buuuut I need one step further back.. what is Ranked Choice Voting? I've never heard that term before.

I'm sorry, but can you dumb this down even more for me? I feel like I understood the rest of what you said, but this line goes over my head.
