Also, while everyone is throwing the sales figures around, here's a juicy little tidbit that nobody knows or ever hears/talks about- GM counts their service loaners as monthly sales. In other words, they're inflated. That's 6 out of 13 in reality. Why you would exclude the Subaru and the Mazda is beyond me, other than the fact that you are saying it like that to support your point, which is a bit muddled at best Frisky. Sorry.     No base model mid size car starts at 200 HP. Which is why the Malibu should have. It would be #1. It's going to be 300 lbs. lighter. That's a much bigger deal than some extra HP.

    This discussion would go a lot further if people would just stop passing off their feelings as fact. Wait until the car comes out and is test driven. Then state your feelings. This is one thing I hate about upcoming cars. They bring out all these feelings and speculations that really mean diddly squat, in the grand scheme of things.

    The front end is okay but what is with the Crosstour rear end? Mixed bag for sure but it will still sell well because "it's a Honda".

    You have to consider that it is also much lighter than the outgoing model (by 200lbs. if I'm not mistaken) so I don't think the power "loss" will be a big deal at all. As far as sales, they will mostly certainly pick up. How much, is anyone's guess.

    migration... yeah...its almost that sad time of the year around here where the birds fly south... But...Football and Hockey season is almost here...and THAT alone is worth the leaves changing colour, the ghosts and goblins asking for candy and the birds leaving for a warmer climate. Don't forget half of your fellow Canadians migrating to my neck of the woods (Phoenix, AZ) over the next month or so. Makes the "wonderful" traffic here that much more fun. From what part of Canada? Because Quebecois go to Florida starting from November. True. We get mostly the Alberta, Manitoba, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan snowbirds but I have seen some Quebec tags up and down the I-10 here. Haven't done Barrett Jackson yet. It is pricey as hell and up until a few weeks ago, I never had weekends off to go to it anyway. May try for it next year though if I can convince my bossman to hook me up on a few tickets. If I go, I going to need a bib to hold back the constant drooling that will take place.

    That's been my point for a while but honestly, after some time to think on it, I would say just leave it as it is. Revealing names will just start a s*** storm which would ruin an otherwise great site.

    Of course a car enthusiast publication would say that. That does not change the fact that MB will have more FWD vehicles down the pipeline and that your average buyer doesn't care about the FWD vs. RWD, unless you live in snow country of course. Guess which one sells more there? Hint, it's not RWD cars.

    Funny, during the "Got a Hemi" ads, I don't seem to recall molar fanboys constantly posting Mopar and Hemi PR articles to show their allegiance and constantly shove down other posters throats, whether they wanted to see it or not. That is a CLEAR difference between fretting about some ads and fretting about someone's non-stop PR push. Clear difference.
