Ok, here it goes... If you could have one new car and one old bought for you at the same time. what would they be? Catch is, the total of both cars have to be under 50k.... I would go with a 2010 Camaro LT with the RS package, and 69-74 Pontiac Firebird.

I'll miss the wagon..... The Cav wagon sold today...it looks like she should have a good home. I sold it to a disabled Vet for a few hundred bucks...and he was thankful for the deal. (So he could make his appointments) He plans to fix her up and drive her locally...so I might see it once in a while... For all the negative vibes the J bodies get, it was always a dependable car for me.... Now I want another wagon.....and I don't know why....

Well, It's not as bad as I expected. I was thinking that it was much worse than that...... As far as the automakers are concerned-you guys haven't seen the worse yet. I've been preaching all along about the fallout in the ecomony...and it is going to get much worse before it gets better.... Looking at leasing-there is no longer a quick fit to get a car. People are simply going to hold on to their cars for a while. (I plan to) Wait till you see how bad the credit crunch will be....not pretty. There is going to be both a cut in car AND truck production soon..... So now might be a good time to pay off your car, put a few bucks in it, and pick up that classic you've been eyeing...
