Well, I think if GM abandons the enthusiasts, so will pretty much so wll everyone else-and I will be looking for a new hobby...or a bunch of old cars.....

Nah, I think we're all worried that between CAFE and high gas prices will kill all the great fun cars that we are used to....

GM not only has to be better, but different as well. Right now that it hard in mainstream cars....they have to make their money somewhere.... As long as they do well, we should still have our "toys"

Crazy as it sounds, I'm going to have to agree..(well, almost, anyways... :AH-HA_wink: ) Granted the W bodies may not have set the world on fire, but we can still call them our own. Many of them will be riding on the road for years to come. Whether you think it was good or bad-they offer a "different" kind of ride..... As we close in, catch, and hopefully pass import cars-the more we become like them. When I look at the HHR, Camaro, and the Zetas, I still see hope.....

Yeah! I love the 70s boats! My uncle had a 76 Impy....it drove great, and rust sent it to the junkyard-the engine was creeping towward 350k........ If I could afford one, I would have a boat..... besides, nothing is more fun than taking TWO parking spaces at a busy place...

Agreed. And only a few of these I could afford : Cobalt and HHR SS... and Maybe a V6 Camaro........ Sometimes your dream car is not a new car....

So very true. Makes my mom (and me) and little sad when the puppies go to their new homes.... They are fun to play with (and watch grow), and people who do it for the enjoyment don't worry about money-heck-if it pays for the shots and some food. sweet! Going to dog shows can be pretty cool..

Not sure about te going to hell part, but I would agree with you in the most part. Both my mom and my aunt raise and show dogs..and been doing it for years...... I would never buy from a store.Ever.

If it was an update of the Impy, I might be impressed... This was a waste of time... At least they could have got SLP involoved so that it had some performance and style or something...

Hmmm.. as far as cruise-you just need a higher end model (though it could be ordered on any cav) and all those cars would be a good choice!

Good luck! Hopefully it won't be too much..she seems to be a good running car for you.... Thinking about it though-it was a Headgasket issue (again) and the Neon the put the wife into a new Cavalier (2003)....
