i sometimes wonder where i work, too. its a totally different world that you simply cant relate to without experiencing it. one of my favorite things is telling my friends what sometimes happens at work. they look at me with a mix of disbelief and shock always with a funny face. much like the one i imagine you made when you read my post, heheh. i think managment refuses to act because of the net effect her antics have on the people around her and they can use it to their advantage. theres also more than one lesbian there. but, the rest are just regular people that are easy to get along with.

thats true. its been scientifically proven that lesbians are psychic. and, of course we all know, that it is perfectly acceptable to treat others terribly if they have different views or do not like us. thats what tolerance is all about. its just the right thing to do.

meh, thats nuthin. there is a woman at my work far worse. she screams and yells, kicks and throws things, breaks down crying, spreads lies about people and tries to get people in trouble. i caught her going through my personal things afew times including the inner pocket of my jacket. and, she hit me once. she has, well, one of the more unique combinations of character traits ive run across. if it wasnt so damn funny, in a way, it'd be really sad. well, ok, its both.

i thought of that counter-point while typing the post. its not exactly an apple vs. apple comparison. first, aircraft are more complex and subjected to much more stress than cars. the chance for mechanical failure with disastrous results is far higher. second, cars dont tend to obliterate themseves upon crashing like aircraft. it is much harder to find mechanical failures from crashed aircraft due to the carnage resulting from the impact velocities. EDRs resulted from the difficulty in determining the reason for the crash. it aint that hard with cars. so yes, i think EDRs in aircraft have saved lives. but i dont think it will do a damned thing to save lives in car crashes. mechanical failures are found quickly, hence recalls, and EDRs wont cure stoopid. i just posted that real quick to try and stir up the thread because i agree with that other biz. well, and because ive read too much of the mental feces that woman produces over the years and needed to vent.

anything they put on, you can take off. you shouldnt be required to pay extra, either. my XR came from a trade and had a pinstripe (adhesive) and VIN etched glass. my dealer didnt even bring it up. i paid the price i would have if i had ordered it. i decided to keep the stripe, it doesnt look bad at all, until it starts to tear away or otherwise look like $h!.

possibly, but that hasnt stopped them before. years ago, circa 99, either MT or C&D tested a GP GT against top of the line maximas, etc. iirc, it still managed to not come in last. like i said, it was years ago.

i think we agree in a round about sort of way. while i agree the current SS doesnt beat all of its competitors in performance, its still the top of the line malibu with the best performance. because of that, i think calling it and SS is fine. i just have a problem understanding people that try to compare old cars with new ones. like, the bitching about the new GTO or the current and L67-powered impala SS. but hey, how cool was it to click on the link i posted? sweet nova.

i suggest to anyone thinking of getting a PS3 to do a lot of reading, or to save time, buy something else. the performance specs have been downgraded twice, iirc. its the "weakest" of the 3. the japanese are up in arms about backwards compatibilty issues. the online function is supposedly terrible. and, blu-ray appears to be the next beta-max. full disclosure (): i own both a PS2 and an xbox and dont plan to buy either replacement. but if i do, it'll be the 360.
