What Are You Listening To?
A helicopter buzzing over my neighborhood. Can't hear what the police is saying. Has to be some low-life on the loose.

Holiday... celebrate!
Have a cheap rental car...expect to go to Tahoe or near Chico or near Shasta. I'll decide tomorrow morning. Enjoy, everyone. Drive safely!

2000 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi
Mixed bag. I really like the body style of that car. I like the 87-91 and the 2000-onward you're considering (don't like the rounded one in between these years). I love the dashboard. Give Pontiac the cabin width of at least a Grand Prix, and they knew how to put together a fascinating dashboard. The mileage is low for the year. I don't like the SSEi nor the GXP, but them I'm "less is more" when it comes to styling. I liked the base LE. Also, with the supercharger, that engine is more of a headache than in base form which, aside from the years with intake manifold issues, is incredibly reliable. My automotive tastes are blander and more conservative than most people's on C&G, so maybe my input is an outlier than can be discarded. Let us know what you decide.

R.I.P GM as we know it
What's the deal with SMK; what was that poster all about? Don't recall. About the "road trip," we keep talking about it but never do it. LOL.

What does "D" stand for? "M" stands for mother, right? That means she has kids. Everyone on C&G knows I don't dig single mothers. Response to thread: London Broil

R.I.P GM as we know it
Joe added some of the things he liked. Here's my favorite, as you all know (obtained from consumerguide auto.how stuff works). Stunning!
