  1. Thank you. And that's why I bring up the thread/question. Some 60 degree V6s do last over 200,000 miles. For 3800s, it would be a head scratcher if they were to last any less.
  2. What does THAT have to do with the price of tea in China? That is weird stuff. And all in a little town in BC?
  3. Pensacola is 'effin beautiful. You're lucky.
  4. Damn, I hope it's not to do traditional shopping. I could only see going there more than 1 or 2 x a month to pick up something to eat (the Chicken Bake $ 2.69 or the Hot Dog/Coke for $ 1.50) or to gas up, but not for anything inside the warehouse.
  5. Yeah, but did it like YOU? Guess not. :AH-HA_wink: As far as MD/DE, I haven't been to their shores. I would actually like to see VA Beach, given that my best friend from childhood's sister has taken up residence there (her husband is military). I have seen the west of MD, notably around Harper's Ferry, WV, and it was when fall colors where at peak....very nice.
  6. I don't like being hit over the head with it... For some reason, I thought this place and Denver were about 100 to 150 apart (like LA and SD)
  7. Hell yes. After Utah, it would be Idaho and then, believe it or not, Nevada.
  8. Opinionated me: 10. too 'effin cold 9. too 'effin uppity 8. too 'effin Mormon (they hate Catholics...we have the market share) 7. nice, except for 3 months of triple digits (bolts onto a major city-PHX) 6. I think it's near Kansas City....eh 5. don't know what it's near, obviously not near the Research Triangle 4. I think I've seen this between Baltimore and DC 3. near the Gulf (bolts onto a major city-Houston) 2. another boring-ass west Chicago suburb that's too expensive for what you get 1. too remote -- true, Boulder is closer to DEN, but I don't do granola Not much in the West, the Pacific Northwest and Florida. I wonder why. How about Chico, the foothill communities of Calif's Gold Country, Florida towns like Pensacola?
  9. Yeah. It is a cool place. However, don't make a grandstand of an entrance....and then disappear. Welcome!
  10. Correct...and not much selection, either. It's not practical for me for the very same reason.
  11. Exactly. Seattle and Portland have a preponderance of UNattractive women. Granolas, lesbians, white trash/Tonya Harding chicks and girls with big frames (largely in part to the heavy Scandinavian and Germic heritage up there). The only nice looking women are in the upscale suburbs: Bellevue, Kirkland, Issaquah and Lake Oswego/the West Hills in Portland. So, yes, this chick who is very attractive (looks like Rachel Ward and has that nice skin tone) goes up there and is lavised with attention. University of Washington Huskies decals say "Woof." Women of Seattle also require a BIG "Woof." Incidentally, Tom Leykus CAN'T STAND Seattle women.
  12. Where in the heck is BJ's located? Never heard of it. Can you image someone saying, "Yes, I'm the CEO of BJs?"
  13. Interesting info about the pay. Didn't know that. I presume you shop at the one right before the Oak Street Bridge coming north from YVR. That's the only one I've seen in your fair city/area.
  14. You know the score. I sit in front of a computer 75% of my time at work, moving around a mouse and steering an AutoCAD program. How badly do I want to watch TV? Not too badly, I guess.
  15. I like Costco, too. I don't see too much skank in there, generally. It's the long lines I don't like. I usually buy 1 or 2 items when I'm there. Sidebar: I love Saturday AM at Costco when they have all the food samples. When I would go to Vancouver with friends over a weekend, we would always stop at the Costco in Bellingham WA and scarf on the "free" food...that would tide us over at the potential 1 hour border wait about 20 miles north of there.
