  1. The 5.7 liter is capable of 300+ horses, and towing capacity of 10,000. Wheelbase of standard cab 138.3 inches, doublecab 150.5 inches.........overall length 228-240 inches. Overall........ Interior - Horrible. Exterior - Titan meets Ram with disasterous results......... the da*n truck looks disproportionate, or it could be on steroids. Toyota - nice try.
  2. At first I thought that was a typo. The man is Jordan.
  3. I was waiting at a stop light on 222 to turn around and go the other way. Opposite of me waiting to make a left was some ugly vehicle. Turns out, it was a 2 door SMART. I took a picture of the car with my cell phone..... the driver of the SMART gave me a thumbs up while I took the pic. What struck me odd though was that the SMART had JD Byrider advertising all over it. I'd like to know how they got a SMART over here to the states - does the SMART meet US crash standards?
  4. I came across a few old car commericals in the past few days, and thought I would share it. With the exception of 1 commerical, the rest represent everything that was bad about advertising in the 70's and 80's. Cheesyness to the utmost extreme...... bad music, lots and lots of it (with the exception of 1 song). http://www.ttzd.com/movies/archive/300_01l.mpg This first one is an ad for the Nissan (or as metioned in the ad, Datsun) 300ZX. I think it's 1984. Keep an eye out for a feature that's on a '06 Civic. http://www.ttzd.com/movies/archive/n_r_t.mpg This is also a 300ZX, but from 1995. GIJoe. Barbie. Van Halen. Enough said. http://www.thirdgenracing.com/videos/index...ive_Commercials This site is interesting. Contained are promo videos for the 1982 and 1983 Firebirds, and if you scroll down you'll find 2 30 second ads featuring the 1985 Camaro lineup and the IROCz-28. Also is a Motorweek test of the 1987 Camaros, which some were equipped with the 5.7 liter engine used in the 'vette. http://www.retrojunk.com/details_commercial/537/ Mid 1980's Mitsu Precis. http://www.retrojunk.com/details_commercial/427/ This is what a Charger looks like....... a 1970 Dodge Charger 500. One thing I've wondered....... what's the significance of '500'? I know it's not NASCAR related. http://www.retrojunk.com/details_commercial/421/ Then they took the Charger name and ruined it. It's the 1975 Charger. It's a Charger...... just slower, uglier, and fatter. Yay! Enjoy.
  5. Being winter and all (although hard to tell up here in Williamsport being 50 and all), I still would like to be somewhere else....thus this.
  6. Ah.... the Car of Tomorrow. Car of tomorrow
  7. Lets see how I do - 1. Never heard of them till I sampled some of their music. This is the thing that bothers me most about music today - the lead singer. To me, he's got too whiny of a voice. Otherwise, it's nothing spectacular. 2. My friend played one of their albums in their car about 2 years ago. Some of their songs are too slow for me - I need something a little faster and a little louder. 3. The last name is the street I live on back home. Otherwise never heard of them. 4. I've heard of her, but only for her "Firecracker" album from like 10 years ago.... and her video that I saw on "Pop-Up Video" on VH1, dont recall the song but she rolls around in like a white shirt, and one of the facts from the video was like she wore 19 different white shirts during the shooting. 5. My roommate last year in college was obsessed with them. Whenever he would get drunk, he would pop in 34th and 8th and start singing along to their songs, and get really loud during "Crazy Game of Poker" - he and a few of his friends then saw them live. Some I know called them a Dave Matthews band knock-off or wannabe DMB band. 6. Never heard of them till now. 7. Same as 6. 8. I could care less about hip-hop/R&B music. 9. I've heard of them through my friend Michael, he got into Ska music because of Streetlight Manifesto. Meh - it was a little better then what I was expecting, but still not enough to wow me. 10. If I had to choose out of the 10 you listed I like the best, I would have to go with them. At least there's some soul and passion in their debut album for starters. I like the music from basically the mid 60's to the very late 1980's. This is what I got hooked on, and I dont plan on making room for any of the stuff from today. Might be stubborn of me, but it's truth. I got hooked to the old, good stuff when I was 13-14, and I've been loving it ever since. I've heard a lot of crap on pop radio for several years now. While driving in my car, its either CD's or Classic Rock I play.
  8. I just can't stand any music of the last 10-15 years. IMO, it sucks.
  9. Saw a Yellow and Sunburst Orange C6 Corvette yesterday on I-80 near the I-80/I-81 Interchange. Also saw 2 HHR's, 3 '06 Impalas, and a Grand Prix GXP in the parking lot of a Damon's Grill in Hazelton.
  10. Saw my first Z06 (Sunburst Orange) on the road on 222 North outside of Reading on Friday......saw it in my side mirror and passed me by, then sped away. Sexy vehicle indeedy.
  11. I'm really really liking this........in black this car would be f*ckin mean.
  12. I saw a Dark Gray Solstice on I-80 near the 80/180 interchange outside of Williamsport on my way back up to college Sunday (I was going west, the Solstice east). I got a glimpse of it.................damn she looks nice.
  13. The car screams Mazda3 in my opinion.
  14. Male-39 Female-0 As of 12 noon Friday.
  15. Look what 10 years of design changes can do for a car...... 1995 Mitsubushi Galant 2004 Mitsubushi Galant 1997 Citroen Xantia
  16. I liked the old Pennsylvania license plates, the solid blue with yellow initials...... then they had to change it..... I have 2 other plates.......one is a vanity plate from Nevada that says "SINCITY"....... and my other one..... Of course they are not real, but I think they are cool. In Vegas they were stores that sold old license plates from all 50 states and Canada...... whoever chose the current PA scheme I swear was either a 7 year old or smoking some terrible mind-altering crap.
  17. Hey BV, how far are you from Williamsport? I'm up here for college at the Pennsylvania College of Technology......... Williamsport is a total opposite of where I live back home in Sinking Spring........ if anything, this place makes me appreciate where I live because here it's boring and dead.
  18. How do you take pictures of your desktop (like what keys to press and such?)
  19. - The last generation Jettas - Mid to late 90's Civic's - Sunfire/Cavalier Coupe - Focus (You'd be surprised by how many chicks drive them around home & college) - Saturn SC2 - Sebring/Stratus -
  20. Yep......... -Going slow on purpose to anger people behind you. -The art of "Break Checking". -Seeing someone pull out behind me on the interstate to pass me, pull in front of them at the last second, speed up to a car in the other lane fruther ahead and do the speed he is doing for 5 miles before giving up. -Swerving back and forth behind someone if they are going slow (horn, finger jestures, flashing my high-beams included). -If someone is blaring their horrible rap music, I blast my radio with some loud a** sh** rock music. -If I pull off the road to make a turn and someone is behind me in a hurry, I'll slowly take my foot off the pedal and let it coast till I get to the turn, go even slower, and turn off. Such angels behind the wheel................ all of us.

    Super Sweet 16

MTVJams plays music videos 24/7 (videos of the past year or so). - VH1 Classic plays all sorts of videos from the 70's, 80's, and 90's and that's 24/7, and IMO the better music channel.
