Also, I hate how people try to justify themselves going like 140 in a 65 zone and getting pissed off because the guy in the left lane is "only" doing 90. Get real.
-
You're both breaking the law by going over the speed limit in the left lane. So both are in the wrong.

Just moving the car did this to it: It's not going to be driven.

Pontiac's problem has along been that the number of $h! piles, or cars that just don't belong with the "sporty/performance" image Pontiac represents, or fleet queens far out ways the cars that do, and have for the better part of 3 decades now. So for Every G8 and Solstice you have a G3, G5, G6, Torrent For every Firebird you had a Sunfire, Grand Am, Sunbird, Aztek etc. At least GMC has stood for trucks and innovation (Quadra Steer, Envoy XUV). Of course one could argue that it's being diluted now too, with the unibody Acadia which is basically the same as the Outlook, and now the Terrain....the unibody box that the new Equinox came in. Buick has had a stodgy image for some time, and it's had plenty of half assed products, but the brand still has a premium image in the mind of many people...so it only has to work through the stodgy image in America. Over in China it's very successful.

It's much more a of a jackass when you're already going over teh speed limit, there's no passing lane, and they want you to let them pass. Of course I've seen retards go in the opposing, NO PASSING lane anyway on 110. Often leads to pretty nasty wrecks. Or then you've got the jackass who is riding your ass in the cruising lane even though you're already going at or over the speed limit, and the passing lane is clear...but they don't move.
-
Yep...normally it's because they are being jackasses. I've had retards in one lane each way no passing roads try to flash me to get over when I was already going 5 over the speed limit. Usually I just flash someone when I'm letting them turn.
-
I can not begin to tell you how this is such a foreign concept to most people.
-
Funny thing is that the owner's manual in my car instructs you how to use "flash to pass". I've always been able to get over even in the heaviest of traffic...and 50 mph isn't that heavy. It just takes some time, patience, and turn signals.

Looks very nice. I don't think the nostrils should be painted. Great step up from the truck!

The car is being stabilized so it can bee displayed without falling apart. Not so it can go to the drag strip. I'll all for restoring things and seeing them in use again. But some things should be preserved ant not restored... Like if we ever get the wreckage of the Lady Be Good back. It should never be restored.

Following the introduction of its all-new Forte compact sedan at the Chicago Auto Show in February, Kia unveiled the 2-door variant here at the New York Auto Show today. The car takes not only the name, but also plenty of styling cues from the KOUP Concept that make it distinctively different from its sedan brother. Up front the Koup receives a more aggressive design, featuring a bespoke front end with a larger lower intake and more vertical side intakes. At the rear are wider and thinner taillights with a larger rear fascia and dual exhaust tips. Powertrains are identical to the sedan; the base EX model gets Kia's 2.0-liter inline-4 producing 156 horsepower and 144 lb-ft torque while the SX features a 2.4-liter four-banger with 173 horsepower and 168 lb-ft torque. Transmission options are a standard 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic on the EX, and a 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic on the SX. Inside the Forte Koup features standard sport seats, power windows, power door locks, remote keyless entry and cruise control, and a leather package is an option on both models. Follow the jump for full details in the press release and check out plenty of high-res photos in the gallery below. Autoblog
