  1. Don't go backing into anything or letting things back into it.
  2. Despite the fact that they are wasting our money, part of me wants to see the fail...justice if you will, for screwing people over for quite some time now. It's not like the money we've given them has helped at all.
  3. Amazingly, I can come to an agreement with you, although I can do you 1 or more better. Where I live 12" snow storms are business as usual. In fact we just got 15" from last night's storm. RWD cars are everywhere, including ours.
  4. I thought it was a wagon? Cool nonetheless. Break out the sawzall! and put it on an S-10 frame.
  5. Meh, the standard tires on the GM were $h!..almost bald. So we went with snow tires for the back since it's well, winter.
  6. Looks very professional NOS!
  7. It's not penis waving, it's having a brain and some common sense.
  8. Exactly (although snow tires on the back is all you need), 4 is nice though.
  9. Too bad people are stupid and don't realize RWD works just fine in the winter.
  10. It doesn't ,matter, the Zeta platform is as good as anything the Germans have, or have you neglected to read reviews of the G8? it could very easily be made more premium and built for premium cars, just like a Camry platform can be, only this platform is 1000x better.
  11. You forgot to check your facts again. Zeta was originally developed as a premium platform. The one the G8 and Camaro use is Zeta Light I think they call it, a less expensive version. The Cadillac Zeta would have used things like aluminum suspension bits.
  12. Oh look, someone else thinks it should be Zeta. No it's a chop.
  13. Zeta: the best platform GM will never utilize.
  14. That exactly what I was thinking ocn.
  15. Those are neat.
  16. I would never say any Lexus had anything over the Sixteen, that's just going too far. However, adding some front end and side detailing like the CTS and Converj would bring it back up to date.
  17. This is funny that you make an excuse for interior rattles for this car but by gods you'll nitpick away at the CTS' interior, and nitpick many others (except for the E-Class of course). I guess auto reviews (I think it was Autoblog, but I'll have to check) are Unverified sources now? Also, the VXR I mentioned is not an American spec model with an American spec powertrain, last I checked, and I mentioned that being a problem with the chassis. I supposes a torque steering, understeering car is class-leading now? Like I said before, I like the car, but it is not class leading. Anyway, my point through all this is GME hasn't had home run after home run after home run, which you seemed to imply earlier.
  18. Well, for one it's been very well reviewed as being one of the best in class. When was the last Buick to be that well reviewed? When I was at the auto show in December a lot of people were looking at it, and I know at least one couple in their 30's were talking to a rep about pricing and options, and that they were interested in buying one. Most Enclaves I see are driven by younger (30's - 40's) people, as opposed to LaCrosses and Lucerenes which I usually see older folks driving (along with most other Buicks in recent history). Maybe wonders was a bit of a stretch? I dunno, but it's done a hell of a lot more for Buick than anything else in the past 20+ years outside of the GN.
  19. I don't know about that, the Enclave has done wonders for Buick's image, all Buick needs now is a good car, and this looks to be it. Oh and actual advertising.
  20. Did I mention cupholders? No. However things like the interior having rattles (which has been noted in at leas t a few reviews) are a pretty big flaw. Oh, and 4-speed automatic is not class leading. Also, the Astra VXR has trouble handling the power the engine makes, whereas the Cobalt SS does not (yes I know GME worked on tuning the SS< but the products is still a GMNA based model, as far as I know). So no, as much as you think it is, the Astra in it's current form is not class leading, maybe in your book, but not in mine. Will the next one be? perhaps, but regarding this generation, that would be a "no". I like the current Astra, especially the 3-door, so I'm not bashing the car, so you know. :Edits:
  21. Except it wasn't until the current gen products that they actually started to become competitive, and even then, cars like the Astra have pretty noticeable flaws.
  22. Cool pics NOS. I love the Iridescents...they look cool and are nice fish because they're not aggressive at all so they can be with other types of non aggressive fish (unlike Silver Tips, who eat everything smaller than them). I'll try to get some photos soon
  23. It's not class leading until we actually have them on sale to be tested, the Insignia is the only one out right now. I don't know if it is class leading or not, but if it is that is only one. The CTS, CTS-V, and teh GMT-900s are and were (respectively) the class leaders and were not developed in Europe.
  24. Name more than one please.
