  1. Did I mention cupholders? No. However things like the interior having rattles (which has been noted in at leas t a few reviews) are a pretty big flaw. Oh, and 4-speed automatic is not class leading. Also, the Astra VXR has trouble handling the power the engine makes, whereas the Cobalt SS does not (yes I know GME worked on tuning the SS< but the products is still a GMNA based model, as far as I know). So no, as much as you think it is, the Astra in it's current form is not class leading, maybe in your book, but not in mine. Will the next one be? perhaps, but regarding this generation, that would be a "no". I like the current Astra, especially the 3-door, so I'm not bashing the car, so you know. :Edits:
  2. Except it wasn't until the current gen products that they actually started to become competitive, and even then, cars like the Astra have pretty noticeable flaws.
  3. Cool pics NOS. I love the Iridescents...they look cool and are nice fish because they're not aggressive at all so they can be with other types of non aggressive fish (unlike Silver Tips, who eat everything smaller than them). I'll try to get some photos soon
  4. It's not class leading until we actually have them on sale to be tested, the Insignia is the only one out right now. I don't know if it is class leading or not, but if it is that is only one. The CTS, CTS-V, and teh GMT-900s are and were (respectively) the class leaders and were not developed in Europe.
  5. Name more than one please.
  6. Just wondering.
  7. So..are you just thinking about this for fun?
  8. I find teh front end to be the issue I'm pointing at. The rest of teh car is fine, but compared with the CTS, and recent Converj concept, it looks wanting.
  9. I just don't like the fact that GME is made out to seem like it can do no wrong, like it is the savior, when I seriously doubt that is the case.
  10. The front end could use an update, I don't like the tiny strip for headlights. I don't like how they don't follow the lines of the grill at all.
  11. I've never been deep sea fish, but it's something I've always wanted to do. I went surf fishing last year....it was fun, even if we didn't catch anything. I want to fish more when the weather gets good.
  12. Not sPorty.... EXCITEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Funny thing is that all of this bitching about the Sixteen....it's starting to look dated now.
  14. Waking up with a headache.
  15. To quote BV, Bitch please, we're about to get somewhere between a foot to a foot and a half of snow.
  16. Betas are very low maintenance fish. Just feed them and once in a while change the water.
  17. Yeah the white ones look like Blazers or Jimmies.
  18. I know a lot of Europeans.
  19. What about that 300M you mentioned? Or another Millenia? Also, I know there's good reasons behind it, but I don't care for the "throw away" mentality.
  20. I don't now, but the brand is a joke among Europeans, even non-car enthusiasts.
  21. Well there is the 370Z, although I don't know what size class that falls under.
  22. Taking my words out of context. Being surprised/impressed/amazed that a company known for cheap transportation would come up with something RWD and fun is not the same as being a a badge snob and not buying it just because of said badge.
  23. GM to spin off Opel, Retain Stake On the heals of an Opel employee protest comes the news that GM will spin off 25-50 percent of its stake in Opel. Follow the jump to see the full story. http://www.cheersandgears.com/index.php?sh...c=28460&hl=
