  1. The level of ignorance in this thread is astounding.
  2. You don't pay 2k a month for a 2k more expensive car. I hope you know he's referring to the car not his wife...
  3. How does the normal A5 ride? If it's more softly tuned it'll still handle well and absorb the bumps. Oh, and he said he wanted something that could actually handle, the DTS is out...plus its sucks anyway.
  4. Problem is those aren't nearly good enough. The strongest argument, the V8, is a weak one too, not only because of gas prices but reviews of the car mention that the 3.6 is so good, the V8 isn't necessary. The CTS is just a better car in pretty much every way.
  5. This thread is pathetic. I'm sorry but that's the truth. Rants are one, thing, but midless banter and trying to blame others or wanting to kill them because they bought something? I mean c'mon.
  6. You mean LH I'm assuming. LX was a smart move because it restored a lot of image to Chrysler. Problem was that the LX platform was the only worthwhile thing (and the Pacifica the only other good thing) to come out of the "merger" Daimler royally screwed Chrysler, I have much faith yet in Cerberus yet. I wouldn't really call the Cobalt ass kicking save for SS form and the fuel efficient of one trim level. Nothing Ford has in the NA small car lineup yet I would consider ass kicking either (but that will change). The Odyssey is one of the best, but "best" isn't a title I would give it. If you've ever used the new Chrysler vans for their intended purpose (hauling people and stuff, not carving up mountain roads like a BMW...which seems to be expected from everything these days) you'd appreciate the features you just can't get anywhere else. I love Stow `n Go. That feature along would get me to buy one of the vans. I agree with the good start and them tripping over themselves part, but they were on quite a roll until a few years ago.
  7. I will once again disagree with the fit and finish. I feel the need (but don't have the time right now) to rant about how you guys are clearly blind if you think the interiors look that similar.
  8. You guys saying the interiors are similar or bare resemblance don't pay attention to the details. Sure, if it has a center stack, steering wheel, console shifter, and gauges on the driver's side, then yeah about 95% of all cars have interiors that bare resemblance to each other.
  9. hell yes.
  10. Better than the pre MCE but that's not saying much. It doesn't look bad, but it's still ultra-cheap...don't make me bust out the photos from 2 years ago of the A-pillar coming part and the dash warped.
  11. Even the newer one sucked, especially when it comes to build and materials quality...not to mention being boring.
  12. Further proof the integration of the controls on the center stack allow for more more unique and interesting designs. I like it as a while very much. Looks very expressive.
  13. Not really.
  14. Minivans First gen Neon (considered among the best compacts of it's time, not the quality issues they have now) Cab Forward Design LX platform Just to name a few.
  15. I can't even read the entire rant. It really is that immature. At least it's in the lounge now.
  16. I was noticing how the 300 sales have really slid. The Charger ha sslid too but not nearly as much. This would be a good time for Chrysler to actually use some kind of Hybrid system in their cars, as well as put 5-speeds in the base models. The 2.7L is at least decent on gas, an extra gear would give it better motivation and fuel economy. Chrysler needs to get it's Phoenix engines online, they are supposed to have advanced technologies including MDS and such. The Journey is both aimed at Crossover shoppers and shoppers who would have purchased the discontinued SWB Caravan. The small cars and midsizers need interior and powertrain overhauls ASAP and they would actually be quite good.
  17. I would buy a late model Supra if I could get a deal on one.
  18. Happy Birthday dude!
  19. Happy Birthday!
  20. Yeah, but sadly not compared to the hit GM (and Chrysler and Ford) took.
  21. That guy who wanted a "finders fee" for that mangled hunk of metal that was once a car in Maine.
  22. That's what I'd like to know. There was all of this talk about redoing the interiors of the Sebring, Avenger, Caliber, and Patriot (not sure about the Compass) yet nothing seems to have happened yet.
  23. Indeed quite stupid, but where's the ebay part of this thread?
  24. One of the blues I really like lately is Chrysler's Steel Blue Metallic.
