British government proposing carbon ration cards
- Black VS White
Well, I didn't take pics right before I did it, so here's an older one one the interior:- Black VS White
Yeah, I've noticed Chrysler did a lot of little things to improve there interiors. The `01 and up Intrepids had lower gloss matte finish plastics for example, and the shifter leather (or whatever it is) is softer. I like adding the little touches to dress up the interior, and since those accessories are available from other Chrysler LH variants, it's fairly easy and cheap to come by. I think eventually I want to do a full leather seating swap with an LHS or 300M...the leather seats are amazingly comfortable in them and much nicer than the ones Intrepids had. I also want to get some of the techno goodies like automatic climate control, automatic headlights, and maybe the NAV unit, although it's probably a pretty clunky system. The next thing I want to is get a set of alloys for it. I was thinking the 5 spokes the Intrepids had, and down teh road a set of 18's off of an Avenger.- Detroit Iron & Chicks
I must be one of the few people who dislike having chicks pose with cars. If you need a hot girl to get the onlooker's attention, that says something about the car. Otherwise I think it's just a distraction from the car itself. Maybe I'm just weird.- A quote for the day

So after over a year of owning her I've finally done something to make her more unique. While I do like white-face gauges and the sporting image they give off, I've long wanted some sort of metallic rings to surround them. Not only does it add some modern bright work to the cabin, but it ads a touch of class. Well, I wasn't able to get rings for the gauges but I did manage to get the next best thing. On the recent $50 Day I managed to pick up a gauge cluster out of a Chrysler Concorde, and despite the rain I managed to keep it safe and dry. Yesterday, with some modifications, I was able to swap them out. Although these gauges are black, I do like the how they look, and indeed they do add a nice touch of class to my car (I think). I was gonna sell it originally, but for now I'll just keep both. If I feel sporty again I can always do another swap...I can seriously do the entire thing in less than 10 minutes. Nice thing is that because the odometer is electronic, it updates the new gauge cluster so it reads the proper mileage...score one for technology!- New 'entry level' Rolls Royce

I think GM should invest more money into fuel saving features for all of its engine Lineup. Mercedes has demonstrated that they can produce a 4 cylinder engine that put's ut somewhere in the neighborhood of 350 horsepower and will get an estimated 40 mpg. There's still a lot of technology that can be applied to gasoline engines that can make them more efficient. It should also be noted that panicking and killing off the V8 is unnecessary. When you consider that the Corvette can manage mid 20's fuel economy, and just how good GM's V8's are, there should be ways to extract more fuel economy out of them. As for short-term solutions. a Mild Hybrid system that can be adapted to an array of vehicle types and size is s a good way to boost fuel economy, and it's also much more cost effective than a Full Hybrid system. The 2-Mode System should be offered on cars and not just SUVs and trucks, because that's where it will have the greatest benefit including boosting GM's green image. Honestly, the only vehicle I think has no real place is the H2. It's sales have tanked and serves no real purpose. It's big, heavy, and bad on fuel economy, and the money required to make it less of a gas hog could be better spent else where, like on small cars and such. Perhaps if it was an important sales contributor, but it really isn't at this point. Not sure how good my post is...it's not the most technical but here goes.- Chevrolet Camaro One More Step Closer

It's not valid because it has nothing to do with this thread. It belongs in it's own thread, not a thread about a strike costing GM money because it didn't have the vehicles to sell due to lack of units.- Anybody want to guess where gas prices end up.....
I can still get away with putting $10 in the Prizm, as it still gets me about 1/3 tank from E but in the Intrepid it's depressing how little the needle moves.- Ugh...
