  1. Last time I checked the Ram didn't have exploding camshafts or use timing belts. Also The press even gives the Ram higher praise in the interior department. Don't forget it is the oldest pickup on the market.
  2. I saw a car with an Autobot logo on the back window..forget which car though.
  3. Dodge wouldn't want the Tundra's quality problems.
  4. It's sad that the Impala has more hard plastic than even the Monte Carlo...the design is decent and light years ahead of the old model but it still loosk cheap. Funny how we'll happily bitch about Chrysler products having cheap interiors or hard plastics yet we'll defend to the death Impalas or the fact that the DTS dash looks like teh rental whore Impala's.

XP and NOS make good points. I paid for my Driver's Ed, and road test. For a while I drove a beater until I had the money to buy my first car. If you have to buy the child a first car, buy them a cheap beater. If they want something better they can earn it.

    T3h S3X
  7. The Volt. The rest of the change comes from the new product on the way and the new stuff out..it won't be one vehicle that turns the tide but it will be a combined effort in different segments with segment leaders not followers. The other is good advertising...get a new agency GM.
  8. For the record, edmunds liked the Silverado better overall than the Tundra, but the Tundra won because of it's superior powertrain (in terms of performance, not necessarily reliability). thegriffen is spot on with his post and there isn't much more that needs to be said.
  9. Hmmm...V8 packing about as much horsepower as the 3.6 DI V6 in the CTS, stuffed into an acianet, FWD chassis with odd proportions and bland styling....sounds tantalizing. Alternatively, I could walk over to Pontiac side of teh dealership and by a Zeta...tough call...really.
  10. Did 68 hijack your account?
  11. Aww...I like the new emblem..maybe it;ll be an option or come with the Gt version? Either way it's an awesome car.
  12. Why is it that you feel the need to ruin a perfectly good thread by bring in your import-humping bias? This had nothing to do with Toyota or Toyota bashing until you came along.
  13. It's not really a rip-fest, unlike US journalists, the Canadian ones are farless bias and more level-headed. The stuff he mentions aren't like taking shots at the car, just informative and a bit surprising. Nevertheless, I plan to have some fun with this bit on info, as my boss' wife bought one of these without even cross-shopping because it's a Honda, while he complains that the had to replace his WindStar's tranny close to 200,000

    Looks like a Mini knockoff.
  15. Your desktop pisses me off
  16. If that theory is true then it means owners of the Tundra with it's box flex should be concerned.
  17. Yes, I've known about this for some time. it debuted on the refreshed Dakota and will be replacing the old 4.7 in the Durango, Grand Cherokee, I believe the Commander and will be featured in the new Ram along with upgraded 5.7L Hemi. Borrowing a few tricks from the Hemi book of play and a little help from AMG went a long way. It took this engine from mediocre to impressive. If there's one thing Mercedes have really helped Chrysler out with besides the LX platform it's Chrysler utilizing AMG's engine specialists to unleash a lot of untapped power. Look at the new ier...up 90 horsepower for a total of 600! Moltar, the Ram's midgrade engine is the 4.7.
  18. I actually like the new headlight and tail light lens designs...they add some life to the car...the removal of the rub strips also gives it a more modern, clean look...now I have to wonder what they did with the interior...couldn't have made it any worse! It's still a handsome car even after these years.
  19. Design is a matter of opinion, and lest we forget the base Malibu interior doesn't look any better. If we want to talk derivative the Malibu's new interior is a cross between the old one and the Aura. It's a nice design but hardly original...the originality lies in the upper trim colors...which look fabulous.
  20. What do you think of the front end design?
  21. K.C. Fly's LeSabre has quite the story to it...it's been in the hands of 4 C&G members, which includes spending time with a Mopar or 5 and a Toyota next to it So Fly, is the idling at startup fixed now as well so you don't have to run it for like 10 minutes before it runs smooth? I should invest in some of hat stuff, as that boat will go through a store's worth
  22. Can you get me a test drive?
  23. It's quite good looking.
