  1. I will admit this is far better than any other subcompact we have in the states...so bring it over GM
  2. That's a new one. I've always known it to mean what it implies...being with the stupid guy. It doesn't make sense for an agreement, but oh well.
  3. Oh to be that lucky bastard in the seat of that car huh?
  4. Uh BV...how come in one post you're "I'm with stupid sign is directed at the guy who likes the Subaru, while the next seems to be defending it? Anyway, I like the Legacy sedan and the Outback wagon alot...very handsome cars. The refresh doesn't look much different...thankfully it seems to have evaded the corporate smiley. As for your post balthazar...isn't that substandard quality one of GM's trademarks? Only messing (even if there is truth to that) . Anyway, I know people who have owned Subarus...they don't have these horrible quality problems you keep talking about.
  5. I can agree with Ford needing to straighten up, but Chrysler? Tell me...of the domestics...who is the only one actually making profits? GM finally made a profit this quarter, but DCX has been making profits for a while. I don't think Chrysler Group needs to "straighten up" since they seem to be doing pretty damn good, and with their midsizers right around the corner, plus the redesigned minivans on their way, the Nitro, a facelifted Durango plus hybrid, and possibly a subcompact, I think they're doing quite well, and have a good gameplan. Remember, DCX has the key ingredient that GM and Ford have been lacking for so long... bold, distinctive, American cars, not Japanese wannabes. GM is realizing this faster than Ford...who in the meantime can't even make a good ad campain these days.
  6. No way, you need those guys for it to be a "proper" Top Gear God...I can only imagine the horrors the American version might be like.
  7. I still prefer gauges behind the steering wheel. I'm used to it...plus The design looks better. that's juts an opinion though.
  8. Yeah...neither one are awe-inspiring. The Aveo would get my vote, if only because I don't like centrally mounted gauge clusters. Also, I'm not a huge fan of the grill on the Yaris.
  9. Yeah...I wouldn't wanna touch that thing
  10. No kidding!
  11. Wow that's up their with some of the stupidest things I've ever heard. But yeah, I was talking about photoshopping it.
  12. the concept or the original?
  13. Yep...that's what it reminds me of...previous gen Camry...bleh
  14. The fact that the center stack and the center console don't line up bugs me. The exterior looks alright, but looks too rounded...like it had Korean influence.
  15. http://www.thecarconnection.com/Vehicle_Re...180.A10330.htmlUm...no it's not. It's on a unique platofrm. Try reading the articles.
  16. I love how you guys bitch and moan that the Charger isn't retro enough and has too many doors. So when Dodge comes out with what you want, looking retro and all, you call it fat and ungainly. Yeah ok. Makes perfect sense. Some people have pretty scewed up logic.
  17. I wouldn't change a damn thing on that car. I hope they keep the radio design too. Such a sexy car!
  18. Yeah, especially with gas prices around the 3 bucks a gallon
  19. Intrepidation

    Enclave

The more I see the interior the more I like it. I hope the leather stays...I wonder if the fold down tables will? I also wonder if this Buick will finally have real wood trim not the fake crap
  20. That was smart Actually, but the company as a whole still made a profit. http://www.thecarconnection.com/Auto_News/...175.A10345.html The Durango's refresh, plus MDS and a hybrid will help sales, the Magnum is built on a flexible line, so production can shift to the other LX cars, which are selling very well. The Dakota...meh...in the words of Lutz "There's always the midcycle refresh" The new Wrangler s coming out soon, and the Compass and Patriot will pick up teh slack of the GC and COmmander.
  21. Hey I like vanilla! Just not in my cars... While I'm hardly a fan of the Camry (although the S package on them makes them look alright...blacked out grill does wonders for the car), I also know that Toyota doesn't need any other sedans besides the Camry, cuz aside from that 6-speed auto, it's a well built, compitent machine, more so than the GM midsizers. Also it would seem that, at least in some cases, the Fusion has better build quality, which is pretty amazing. I also agree that GM doesn't have anything different or enticing enough to be competetive with that one car. The Aura will undoubtedly help, but how much is open to debate. As it stands now, I would actually choose the Camry (with S package) over the Malibu and G6...cuz neither can match it in terms of power and refinement. Also...the Malibu is hideous. Not too bad actually...I hate the normal models with their fish gill grills still though. I think the Fusion makes a very good business case for itself against the Camry, and, given a few tweaks (more potent V6, redesigned center stack controls) could easily equal or better it. Also, I believe the Fusion hasn't had any problems yet (though I could be wrong). I'd take the Fusion over the Camry any day I'm eagerly awaiting DCX's midsizers...those will be anything but vanilla!
  22. I can understand not liking one...but Korean? When was the last time they came up with something had sharp lines like that.
  23. Are the inside of the doors painted?
