  1. Right, and doing it that way gave them some purpose besides being factory installed chrome stick-ons. They certainly don't extract air these days.
  2. Really? I'll have to check my local dealer out this week.
  3. I would like to thank Acura for the opportunity. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't have had such good joke material to work with. I'd also like to thank Toyota for sucking so much. And Cheers to bobo for keeping up this great tradition!
  4. Really? I thought they did, they certainly did on the Lucerne. So what are they, just chrome add on these days with no significance at all?
  5. The CTS-V is what Cadillac should be, the Standard of the World.
  6. I just noticed that it appears to have a total of 6 portholes. Disappointing then that GM would ignore what they stand for.
  7. I agree, but hey if we're going to complain about it let's call the interiors of the GMT900's terrible since they do the same thing.
  8. I like both the A4's interior and the Verano's interior. One thing I don't like about the Verano's is that the buttons all look the same and aren't really separated and grouped by function like they are in say, the LaCrosse or the A4. I also don't like the name, Verano. It's completely forgettable, so much so I have to look back to the top of this thread to remember how its slept. I would have preferred something more recognizable. I mean design age the A3 is old, the interior design of the A4 is much more recent. Sheeh.
  9. To be fair, the A3 is getting long in the tooth. It'd be more accurate to compare the A4's interior.
  10. Well right off the bat I can think of at least 7 cars that were designed for the US market first, and of those at least 3 of them meet most of your criteria for buying car, and one that meets them all (besides having a bed).
  11. A lot of car/pedestrian accidents cannot be avoided by the driver. If a person hops out behind a vehicle, like a truck for example, they can be impossible to see until its too late, and there may not be room to dodge them.
  12. I don't know if that's silver plastic (looks nice at least) or real wood, but Buick is supposed to be premium, it should have real metal and/or real wood trim.
  13. It's quite handsome, much more so than the Cruze, and the interior looks very nice, but it would have been nice if the reverse sweepsear had made it to the car. It would have given it some distinction. It looks a bit anonymous from the side, and I would have liked to see the front end be a little more aggressive like the LaCrosse.
  14. Pity no one takes decent photos of these SUVs. The Press photos suck and most of the search results are small and/or low quality.
  15. Which is why the Cruze doesn't need to make 900 horsepower.
  16. I will go out of my way and pay more for something Made in USA. You can find things, it takes some searching. Problem is there isn't always a choice, like say with small appliances. Or TVs.

    It's not white.
  18. Nice, I want to do that too but can't for the near future.

Did a light bulb blow out?
  20. Ted!!!!!!!!!¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ How you been? Where you been? How's the Olds?
  21. CG taking the time out to personally address questions is very commendable!

A vehicle with a 4x4 badge and something actually designed to go off roading are two different things though. Try driving a truck that's has a 3" lift and 30" tires and see how stable it is. With that all said, I'm sure there could have been room for improvement, something new new Liberty probably addressed.
