I used to agree with this 100%, but when someone pointed out to me the fact that the front license plates do NOT have lights around them (like the back license plates do), I stopped agreeing 100%. After all, you are not going to be able to see the front plate very well at night.....unless you have a flashlight or something to shine on it..... I don't mind front plates ... as long as the car is designed to integrate them, like the older cars. Newer cars ... just look weird with 'em . *grins* Ahhh...thank you!!! I had a wonderful day on my birthday, September 19 ... weather was absolutely gorgeous! I went to work in the morning ... but traffic was the WORST it has EVER been since I started there nearly a year ago; took almost an hour to get to work ... arg. But, on the flipside, this was the first time in a long time that I've actually wanted to spend part of my birthday at work. Left work around 12:15, ate lunch at home and rested a bit. Then, got the older 4 MCs out for a brief drive ... about 20 minutes each. First time I've been able to get my older 4 MCs out on my birthday in a while. Then, dinner with the family at a local restaurant ... and relaxed at home, watching and listening as the Cubs beat the Reds 3-2, coupled with the Brewers loss to Houston, 5-4. *sighs* And, of course, the day went by very quickly.... I agree, too. But, while I have (sadly enough) been the receiving end of some of those "you don't belong" type statements and gestures, I can also note that I've had experiences very much opposite of that ... wonderful experiences with older people at the cruise nights around here. Some of them have become good friends, though, since I haven't been to a cruise night this year, I haven't seen them much. Still ... I know that if I called them up, we'd catch up in no time.... The thing about cruise nights ... it, as Future noted, is mostly older guys.
