Sounds good! The shore, from what I'm told, is a great place to relax ... especially with all of the, uh, nice scenery, around . Certainly hope so! And, uh, Hudson ... guess I'll miss you this trip, too, eh?

Heh ... sometimes I don't. I have a lot going on that I haven't told many people ... because if I do, they'll start to think that my "evil twin" is coming back to town. But, the "evil twin" will never come back ... because, in many ways, I'm much better than I was "back then". Still, I have my days/moments/strings where I just want to give up. But, invaritably, something or someone always reminds me about how precious life is ... regardless of our situation..... *shrugs* Doubt that helped, but food for thought, anyway, I suppose..... Cool ... have fun! Big plans? And, as I noted, I'll be going east for my "extended" road trip next year ... so SE PA will be in the mix .

Ohhh...that'd be awesome! To see you again, of course ... and see what I might want to take back to IL with me . *pauses* Hmm...surprised more of the PA people haven't spoken up .... And, Sixty8 and XP, you able to drive to the Pittsburgh area to show me the '77 Cutlass?
-
Sweet! Would be cool to meet you! How soon will you know your schedule? Hmm...hoping to meet up with others along this trip ... and, of course, the one to MI-PA-OH as well in August .
-
*nods* So do I ... along with Fawlty Towers and As Time Goes By.
-
*grins* Oh ... you can count on it that I'll have fun . And, yep, full schedule ... but I wouldn't have it any other way.... BTW, did you and XP note when I'll be in PA in August?
-
Camino, Yeah, I know ... I was hoping some of you PA folks would be willing to travel to the Pittsburgh area ... but, I certainly understand. No worries. Perhaps next year when I get to go east again for my "major" road trip . NOS & Schuby, I'll be meeting quite a few different people at Pasquales. Some from here (you and NOS, of course), a few from the 1st gen MC club, and a few other sites as well.... Will be nice to meet you both .

*nods* Here is hoping . He he he...yeah, I know. Just haven't gotten around to it just yet. Derek A mentioned it to me when we were at the MC Nationals this year. It's on my "to do list" to speak with Ray B about ... to get those pics added. One of the issues is that there seems to be so much controversy about if the '06 is a new generation. Frankly, I don't think it is ... and neither does Derek A, especially after he rented one to take to the MC Nats this year. I would say it is NOT a new generation ... it was just a refresh ... much like the '76 MC with the quad headlamps ('75 and singular/circular), etc. Thanks for the reminder .
-
Awesome, 76CT . I've driven by the museum quite a few times, but never really visited, tho we did meet in the parking lot when the MC Nationals were in Bowling Green a few years ago..... Lucky you . *nods* That certainly would be nice. A few months ago, my aunt and I had gone out west a ways to check for some family graves in a graveyard and stopped on the way back home in Mt Morris IL to see some friends. There was a "beater" (and I use that term loosely) 1995 Riviera ... that darkish tan color ... for sale for (iirc) $2900. Almost bought it, but opted against it ... something just didn't seem right.....

COOL! Lookin' forward to seeing those pics .

Hmmm...maybe it time to replace the wagon....

*nods* Yeah, I agree ... very sad. But, not altogether that surprising. Most people seem to have the mentality that a newer car will get better gas mileage than an older one ... with no exceptions. And, that simply is NOT true.
