  1. Agreed. March vs. March was well up tho- 2166 vs. 1774 units. Bolt is also the #2 selling EV in the US so far this year. That said, EV sales are still terrible in general.
  2. If diesel trucks aren't, ever, going anywhere, it's hard to image in there's no room for diesel cars too.
  3. I think of small/mini trucks as akin to the car within it's segment with the by-far smallest trunk/interior room. I've yet to hear anyone brag/be happy about that.
  4. 3.6% is nothing, a 'standard wiggle' that happens with a variety of regular factors. No commercial product sees uninterrupted, continual upward growth. But financial analysts will point to such with loud fingers, spewing 'significance' & proclaiming it is 'proof' of something. Reading elsewhere on the subject- while EU EVs "nearly doubled" in February, EVs were still under 2% of the market there. Also, making overall judgements on the 'EU market' of 27 countries is probably disingenuous, as the individual numbers are all over the scale, again; for various commonplace reasons. +36% to –15%.
  5. Ranger, S-10, LUV, Courier, nissan, toyota…. all the small pickups from the '70s into the '90s disappeared. There's a reason...
  6. Drove past this place Sat- going to have to go back & check it out ~
  7. What consumer would bother buying a rebadged global small truck if another mainstream brand original was available? A mitshubishi pick-up could only move product by radically undercutting in price/ cutting features/capability. Guess where I'm going is; it wouldn't work in the USDM.
  8. '74 Century GranSport 2-dr coupe '69 Special DeLuxe 2-dr sedan '65 Cutlass 2-dr sedan '65 GTO 2-dr sedan '61 Tempest wagon Couple dozen more of the same at a B-O-P drag event.
  9. Why? What's the point?
  10. If toyoyo's is circa 52 and Cadillac's is circa 57, I don't see it budging because of ATP's alone.
  11. Takin a road trip today to the B-O-P show/drags at Atco Raceway.
  12. Cadillac's ABA has fallen, slowly, for decades. I remember first reading that 'Cadillac will be no more because it's buyers are too old' in 1970's articles. BTW- mercedes is within 4 years of Cadillac's ABA, and both are within like 5 of toyota. That's a pretty damned ancient & invalid platitude you trotted out, Reg. BTW, where is 'Muhrica', somewhere in Central America?
  13. And if the answer is 'CT6' over '740i' - does that tell you how badly BMW botched that?
  14. How do you think the 'more China-centric' approach has shaped the mercedes s-class, where fully 1 out of every 2 are sold globally?
  15. Every G8 or last gen GTO I see is immaculate.
  16. Original (and only) 4-door coupe- the floral coach coupe ~
  17. How do you think 'more China-centric' will manifest itself product-wise?
  18. Profitability has been nearly unobtainable for Tesla since the Model S debuted- that doesn't seem to have any affect on it's longevity, for some inexplicable reason. What's probably a bigger issue is the drastic decline in sales. U.S. Q1 2019 was down 61%, yet go find that number published anywhere.
  19. Personally, I drive to provide consumerism (sole proprietor business).
