  1. I really hope so. I will certainly buy one. I test drove the suzuki Grand Vitara stick. It is fun to drive. But I need a more powerful V-6. I I guess there is another Boilermaker family who loves stick shifts.
  2. But honestly the truck has not gained too much girth compared to the previous model, which is good engineering.
  3. I honestly think GM should add a 6-speed manual tranny to the 3.6l. I love this car, but coming from a family who loves to shift on their own, I will try to buy anything with a stick. They should offer it only as a build to buy configuration so it does not rot on the dealer lot.
  4. Send some snow here in Florida, we need some
  5. Any idea how much this thing going to sell for?
  6. I definitely think no matter how much money you spend on a luxury car it still should be fun to drive not a commodity. Judging from Clarkson and the way he liked the S-Class and now C and D it does make sense to accept Dogsus got all wrong. To learn how to create a dispassionate car learn from Toyota. They have been doing it for 25 years atleast here in States. Even the European car magazines snubbed the Dog, which means a lot. That is the drawback of reverse engineering which Toyota had been faithfully following. Copying the Germans and trying to make one better seemed to have worked initially but now they seem to have lost it and to a point whoring it. Frankly I never can associate "Sports" with Toy-boy-ta (even though they claim they have a racing division ). The good way to judge is how they have not won A SIGNLE F-1 GP during their seven years of racing and even having one of the highest budget in the history of the sports. They even tried to spy and steal Ferrari's Aerodynamics design. I think only time will show how Toyota is gonna go downhill.
  7. He is targetting our Asian American buyers who might have heard good things about Buick from their homies in china. :AH-HA_wink:
  8. I could not agree more with you. The damage was done by the press when it came with only 285 horses and 4-speed and being heavy (which it was for the smaller engine). When it got a rejuvanation with its 5.7l V-8 things had just been FUBAR. I test drove one with 6-speed at the GM's Autoshow in motion 4 times. I loved it. It had some grunt and it handled pretty well. And I will not mind to get a used one for the commute. If GM would have kept it at 35k-40k range like the Siverado SS then the story would have been different.
  9. GM saved the best for their homeground show. Good to know about the hybrid foray. Although nothing about the new type of hybrid which we heard about a few days ago? Do they want to shock everybody?
  10. I actually was thinking of that. But the front looks different from the pictures I have seen.

  12. I always said this to my friends: Everyone who says that dog is man's best friend has not seen a pussy yet. You gotta be thankful to it. (I am not being a homophobe)
  13. Well I will be banging my girl friend and couple of her friends and eat them while doing the same. Happy Thanksgiving to all regardless of when it was celebrated. Please drive carefully.
  14. Absolutely!! I will give you a perfect example from GM's own cradle. Cadillac Escalade I have not only seen African American people drive it but I know the following people who are not African American and own it: 1. One white surgeon 2. One Canadian Doctor 3. One white single mom Engineer 4. Two consultants (One of them Indian and other white) 5. There is one Syrian engineer who is planning to buy one. And all magazines apply the BLING tag to the Escalade. But if they have a good product I do not think they should brand the people who GM might think will buy it. I think tagging a vehicle to a particular race to me is racism indirectly. Rather GM should just have a broad national campaign.
