  1. Charging by VMT is the most fair, but the Big Brotherish aspects will prevent it from being implemented nationwide. The gas tax has served well as long as there have been incremental increases with inflation. When vehicles have extremely high mileage or use no gas (i.e. electric), it becomes less fair.

  3. A Suzuki Equator pickup, for the first time.
  4. The old Ford Focus wagon was pretty nice, but unfortunately did not survive the redo. Subaru has always been successful with wagons, but not everybody needs AWD. Volvos always had a lot of wagons but are too expensive for most people. The reality is that there is a niche market for wagons, but most people would rather have crossovers.
  5. Cursive is pretty obsolete. I remember spending lots of time doing penmanship in grade school that could be better spent in other ways.

  19. Ford, though I'm not really a Ford fan. I do love the Fusion Hybrid. The new Taurus beats the large GM front-drivers. MK-S over the LaCrosse and DTS.

    LaCrosse track tested

The Honda is a SOHC. It's too bad the LaCrosse is so overweight, like too many of GM's vehicles.
