The era of big trucks as suburban vehicles is waning, and it's perfect timing for cheap trucklets to come back in a market niche below the recent Subaru Baja and Honda Ridgeline, which were too expensive and poorly styled. I would get a Tornado/Montana.

Cadillac should have put this front end on the Hybrid instead of the garish graphics.

The gratuitous reference to Fresno is due to either laziness on the part of the ad agency (is that the most creative thing they could think of?) or a ticket for free publicity when the inevitable cries of protest occur. Either way, this reflects badly on both Toyota and the ad agency.

It has more wood than I prefer, but it's appropriate for the car it's in. The design isn't particularly distinctive, but it's inoffensive and has no major ergonomic transgressions. I'd still take this dashboard over 90% of other vehicles.

The styling is regressive, especially the rear. And why is Toyota suddenly embracing thick rear pillars now on all their new vehicles? The Scion xB and FJ have huge blind spots, and it appears the new Matrix as well as this also do. On the bright side for Pontiac, I think this will sell well and give BPG dealers badly needed sales to people who probably otherwise won't buy a GM vehicle.
