  1. never new the A Body spawned 2 door wagons.. i love Nomads for that reason... who says a wagon needs 4 doors?
  2. oh lord... my favorite little truck ever... i love the SyTy twins, and possibly would sell my future first born for one
  3. ive seen almost everyone of those.... im looking to stay away from F/G bodies, like ive said, gas mileage and the fact id be tempted to modify/spend money some need more work then i want (looking for a turn key car) some havent emailed me back, while one or two have some nice rust rpblems
  4. id be the asshole telling girls i have a vette all the time!... lol im trying to stay away from the hatchback style.... i like the notchback/liftback look.. i know im being picky for a beater, but 2 doors are best, and chevette looks a bit too poverty for me... though im digging the wood grain... drop in a 572 BBC maybe? :AH-HA_wink:
  5. chevette has run through my mind, but most around are worn out then a $5 hooker....and i am looking at A-Bodies, but the thought of RWD makes me a bit happier... and the price! i can prob swing it for $600 or less out the door...i aint gonna be a toyota fanboy, but im digging it a bit...
  6. My mother smokes, My father did as well, and my older brother.... seeing the effect it has on them, nope, not for me... im at the age where a good amount of my peers smoke,.... its disgusting!
  7. yea.. the one im looking at above is a RWD platform, while the Nova/ Corolla was a FWD... i hate toyotas, but i talked to the guy today.. 105,000 very little rust, no rot, mechanically sound, great on gas, $650 NEG.... i have to look into this.... im destroying the fact that noone in my immediate family has owned an asian car, but any comments on it? Camino, i agree that it is not sporty (80+HP!!! woo!) but from a strictly cheap beater standpoint, im liking the idea!
  8. Anybody know anything about these cars? im usually anti Asian cars, and certainly anti toyota, but my friend is convincing me more and more to look into this... Toyota!
  9. Nope, ive always been a good boy..I've been with my G/F for 17 months now, and ive had more then one girl try to tempt me (not until im in a relationship do random girls want me ) but i care WAY too much about Victoria to be unfaithful.... i have no reason to cheat
  10. im gonna hold my comments as to not start a war yet :AH-HA_wink:
  11. 7 LBs/ HP? SWEET! i love seeing big boats with tons of power..... keep these posts coming!
  12. this seems more of a lowered SRX type crossover then a true useful wagon... it looks real hot, but like Camino said, a bit small
  13. that hunka crap sure cleans up damn well!
  14. i saw my first hybrid yukon the other day and almost peed myself laughing when i saw the HYBRID decal on the doors... reminded me of the south park episode when everyone drives hybrids...
  15. im making my car a stick.. as an added bonus my family WONT be able to drive it!
  16. im diggin the pontiac and that gorgeous yellow blazer!
  17. even though i used to think of a stigma associated with wagons, im starting to love them!
  18. are you kidding camino? those Vintage Air kits can be pricey! cheap alternative--- :AH-HA_wink:
  19. i usually feel that way... and id have another classic V8 to daily drive if this gas situation wasnt what it is! hell, if gas was super cheap, id Daily Drive a 427 impala with a Glide and 4:10s!
  20. im the opposite too... id take a small block over an OHC anything anyday,.... gobs of torque and power from like 250 RPM up power down low > power up high IMO... though i have seen some high RPM small blocks that sound almost unnatural..
  21. Cmon BV! lets see what you can come up with! John Borger....
  22. SWEET! ive seen quite a few of them with a full GTO conversion... looks awesome!
  23. 68, what your not getting is that besides gas mileage and worrying about parking the car in less then desirable areas, i still have big projects for the car that requiires the car to be off the road for a while... the paintjob currently on it looks good from afew feet away, but its rallt a $h! job.. the guy who did it used a lot of bondo which is cracking, and the paint didnt adhere well. I wanna take the paint down to metal and start body work, and on a larger scale im seriously considering doing a 6 speed swap into the car, which is no simple task... alot of fabrication, meaning it will be undrivable for a while... the smartest choice is to take it off the road, switch the insurance to another car for a while, and drive that cheap tank for a while.... iim looking at over 100 miles a week now, but that will jump to over 300 miles a week come september.... lets give the nova the benefit of the doubt and say 10 mpg.... thats over $100 a week in gas.... i only make $150 a week now on a good week... see a problem here?
  24. Because the northeast is the greatest part of the country! w00t NY
  25. mmm factory lightweight not as exciting as the swiss cheese framed, aluminum fendered Super Duty pontiac lghtweights, but cool nonetheless
