As far as I know, HP Compaq and Dell order from the same OEMs: Quanta and Compal. Taiwanese OEM laptop companies. I wouldn't go with either. If I want one of those, I'm better off getting a whitebox laptop from the smaller computer shops. IBM-Lenovo, Toshiba, Asus, Fujitsu all make their own. My ManSci class did a presentation about Dell, and we found that a lot of problems for laptops came from outsourcing, that leads to QA problems.

Thinkpads or Asus are the way to go these days... My 6 year old Thinkpad 240Z, online 24/7 yet still going strong...

It doesn't make sense more even to have a 350Z get the corporate face. That's like rebodying a Corvette to look like a Cobalt. 350Z is to an extent Nissan's halo car and should not look just like all the other cars in the lineup.

Well, my co-worker isn't really looking into a car right now, I just see her bashing about my car as well at times. And the problem is though, they sound as if they would even refuse to test drive. dart: I do agree... to certain extent. I still tell people who are looking for used cars to avoid them like the plague, especially used rentals.

I have a coworker and my boss, both were troubled by Cavaliers and swear that they won't get another American car. How would it be possible to talk them back into a domestic? My co-worker has a '94 Cavalier (looks like a VL sedan) that dies often on her, and has now primarily drives a Mazda3. My boss has a '98 Cavalier Z24. Both of them are very unhappy about the reliability of the cars. What's worse, my boss was actually talked away from the Cobalt by her neighbour, who appears to work at GM. I've seen this case alot, too. And usually the same suspects as well: J-bodies.

A lot of G6, and blows the Solara into the water. Not to mention the price difference. I can assure that nobody will buy this thing if it's anywhere near the price of a G35 coupe.

I should've used the quote feature. I was referring to Northie, not you. He said it was only available on the high-end Aura, which I corrected him that the G6 has it too. Your statement is correct. The 3.6L only appears on the GTP, which is the highest trim on the G6.

Don't forget the rumours: EP II is FWD, RWD, and AWD. I really hope it's true. Something along the lines of an A4 would be great.

This statement is incorrect already. The G6 has the 3.6L 6-speed combo. But yeah, I'm with everyone. Put it on the base models too. I'm actually interested what the 6-speed can do for the 2.4L Ecotec.
