The Wilmington Plant proudly built the Chevette for years and years and I still see them today on the road today, I passed one on I-95, just this morning. They are like the Energizer Bunny, they keep going and going.

To bad GM no longers owns Detroit Diesel. It is now a division of Daimler. Another stupid move on GM's part, now when GM needs diesel engines more than ever.

I don't see many people optioning up the CTS to that price level, I think Cadillac is fooling themselves if they think people will. Those that do will say for a few thousand more I can have a 5 series and free maintenance.

Well after thinking about this news, it works for me, as I will be putting the 07 Grand Prix GXP in the garage next to the 69 Custom-S in 2010. Since Pontiac will no longer exist for me at that time, I will be moving on to Cadillac and buying the CTS diesel. One door closes, another door opens, that is until Holden starts sending us rebadged Holdens as Cadillacs, should that happen, it's hello BMW!
