  1. Holden can't meet 70K numbers. You have to remember they only have one assembly plant. They still have to meet home market demands, along with China, South Africa, and the Middle East demands, not to mention the new UTE that will be coming soon.
  2. I wonder what kind of car I can get for a slightly used wife? Nah, I wouldn't trade her, at least not yet!
  3. Meh, that's not driving in the snow. Try driving a 1969 Pontiac Custom-S RWD V8 in the snow with no, power steering, no power brakes, no rear window defroster, and traction control, what's that? :AH-HA_wink: Talk about fishtailing, on I-95 in the snow, I look like a salmon swiming up stream. Now that's driving in the snow!
  4. Ok here is my desktop, yeah I know to many icons, but it works for me!
  5. I agree with everything except the G8. This car is headed down the same road that it's sibling brother the GTO went down. With gasoline heading towards 3 bucks a gallon again a RWD V8 Holden rebadge is the last thing Pontiac needs. With limits of 30K - 50K only being imported, even if for some odd reason it started to take off, this limit will drive prices up way beyond sticker price. More than likely though, with it's (BAS) Boring Australian Styling, I think this car will be sitting on dealer lots for quite a while.
  6. Would these work in your Colbalt? I know they are for the Avalance, but I think they look nicer. http://www.chevrolet.com/avalanche/accessories/ Select interior once you are on the page.
  7. WOW, I actually thought that was two Audis that had hit each other, until I realized that what I thought were two cars had the same license plate number.
  8. I want those lights for my Grand Prix GT!
  9. Hold on to your panties, here comes 3 bucks a gallon again. The oil industry has said with the bad winter and all the snow, that heating oil supplies are now low and that is what is creating the high prices again for gasoline. I wonder what this will do for sales of of cars with big V8 engines?
  10. There is nothing like walking around an assembly plant when it is closed and no one is there. On more than occasion I had the opportunity to be in an assembly plant when the line was shut down for a holiday. On one Memorial day weekend I found myself in an empty assembly plant at 3 AM. It reminded of the ship in the movie Alien, an most of the plant was pitch black. It was cool as Hell!
  11. It doesn't turn my head, I actually hate the Pontiac G8! I hate the fact that it's a Holden rebadge and I hate the name and if you look at the G8 and the Aztek headon, there is something very Aztekish about the G8's looks and to me that is scary! Good going Bob Putz!
  12. Isn't the Grand Prix supposed to go soon too? Anybody know when?
  13. Just in case you're not sure, I hate the the Aussie Zeta in any form it takes. I await the North American version, that hopefully will be built in Oshawa!!!
  14. Ahhhhh, I love the smell of diesel fumes from a GMC Newlook (fishbowl) bus and lets not forget those sex smells! Either on or off the bus! Mmmmmmm! Yes I know it explains so much about me!
  15. This car has been shipped from Wilmington for a while now. I've watch truckload after truckload leave the plant day after day.
  16. This is what happens to men who have bad Karma. They come back as male KIA cheerleaders with pastel sweaters!
