  3. Welcome back, you might want to consider an external hard drive that is big enough to back up your C: Drive, it's saved my hairy a$$ more than once ...
  4. Why would GME want it, especially if GM files Chapter 11, and a new company emerges ... GME will be part of any new company that emerges ... but I would prefer a spin off of GME, GMDAT and GM Holden into a new company with GMNA going it's own way ... Whatever happens, I wonder how any new company will decide on what the bondholders and stockholders will get in said company that is formed, and how will the platforms be divided up, if at all ???
  5. Hope this helps you ... http://mafca.com/ http://mafca.com/downloads/Technical/Assem...dy%20Number.pdf Bö®gÉr

  7. Hmmm, GMNA - GME please save Saturn ... GME - OK ... GMNA - Wait, wait we changed our mind, please save Buick now ... GME - OK, What about Saturn ... GMNA - Let it die ... As for Saab, I have a feeling it will become more independent, but GM will retain control ... As for Holden, the Delta II is on it's way, so the Chevy sign shouldn't be far away, of coures it could always change to GMDAT I guess ... As for that smell, I think what your smelling is North Carolina, but I could be wrong ... 2/17/09 should be interesting to say the least ...

  9. You will have to blame GMNA, not GME, they made all those decades of bad decisions. Don't be surprised if GM goes into Chapter 11, on 2/17/09, if that happens, kiss many brands goodbye and GM as you have known it will cease to exist. I kind of like what may rise from the ashes, but not too sure how many here will. But I'm sure you'll be able to Monday morning quarterback that too ...
  10. 20 years ago when I joined GM, these Heartbeat of America commercials were everywhere, I actually miss them ...
  11. At your age, what do you consider an old lady?
  12. I helped kill Saturn when it was outside the corporate structure, and I would do it again if it went back to that, as far as NUMMI is concerned, that deal should have died a long time ago, but I think what is about to happen to Pontiac will accomplish the same goal ...

  16. The 1939 Adler Diplomat was a showpiece of German ingenuity. Because of the scarcity of fuel during and after WWII, this wood-burning, steam-engine car became quite practical.
  17. This car always fascinated me, especially the back wheels. 1938 Mercedes Benz G4 (as in 4WD). Note the 4 rear wheels on 2 axles. Only 38 of these were ever produced, primarily for the upper military elite of the 3rd Reich. One was given to Italian dictator Benito Mussolini, and others were used in the occupation of Austria and Czechoslovakia. After the war, they were used in fire brigades.

  19. Yeah the Swedes don't play ... 3 days and counting ... For you Pedro, how's your German?
