Did you see how cleverly the Toy PR machine has shown "increase" in the domestic products produced by it? GM PR needs to learn from these bitches to improve the perception of its in the minds of sheeple Americans. No other manufacturer shows those numbers. Toy is just trying hard to be a domestic manufacturer.

That was a profoundly deep ad which only Toy owners and humpers will understand. I as one did not understand it, two minutes and seven seconds waste of my life.

GS has never been a forte for a V8. In this class only BMW and MB may be upto a certain extent the Audi command the V8 market. Fridgeline and Element deserve the sinking. Element is now in its late model years. Nothing spectacular, and it is a ho-hum to be hippie vehicle. Acura will have a sluggish first half, but after the new TSX and TL come in, and their rumored coupe, they should pick back up.

What is not written is the fact that Impala got hammered. It lost almost 8,000 units compared to last year, and the Malibu gained about 5,000 units compared to 2007. Collectively that is a loss. So much for next gen Impala to be a FWD. The Malibu and Impala if both on FWD will kill eachother rather than killing the competition. It will be interesting to watch the Impala volume over the next 11 months and compare it with the Malibu. Impala sold about 17k, that is a good volume for a RWD. Looking at about 200k/year.

Where will you position it? Theoritically it should be positioned above the G-8, which means close to the 38-42K price bracket. Which means a competitor for the CTS. I do not think GM will allow that.

Give us diesel engines one v-6 and one v-8. Make the interior contemporary and yet simple. I am not a fan of the "retro" interior. It seems like interior will be a major letdown for Gen 5. '
