  1. Got boned for $1,000. The rear right tire of the BMW had a small leak so I took it to Discount Tires. While inspecting the tires, the store personnel saw a 12-inch gash in the interior wall of the front left tire going into the steel reinforcement. I have no idea how that happened. The Bridgestone run flat that came with the car was $389 per tire, and the GoodYear F1 All Season was $201 per tire, so I decided to replace both fronts since, I hated the ride of the run flats anyways. Plus GoodYears come with 25,000 miles warranty. Yay for Z-rated tires I guess! I went for lunch while they replaced the front tires and fixed the rear right. The guy calls me saying you need to take a look at the rear right tire (the one with the leak). Well for my luck that one too had a huge gash going from the inside wall to the middle three quarters of the tire tire tread and again the steel reinforcements were pretty much visible. So I had to replace the rear two too. One more thing, starting Jan 1, 2010, government has started to tax extra for the tires not made in USA. I am glad the GoodYears I have proudly say MADE IN USA. What a day!
  2. It has been more than a week, yet the feeling of being married has not hit both of us. Just feels like she is Detroit and I am in Orlando and life is going on. Is it bad?
  3. Happy Birthday Paulie. I hope you have a great day. ^^You cannot expect the Camry driver to park correctly, can you?
  4. I have reserved saying anything since Drew showed me the car on Sunday before NAIAS. I just wanted to sit on it. I feel exactly how you feel. My main concern is given that GM already had resources to turn the other wheels, they did not use them. Given the constraints Welburn and team has done a fantastic job. And therein lies my problem. Why does Welburn have to compromise all the time? Let him have all hands on deck, no compromise design for once. We have more than a capable platform in Zeta, which is under utilized. GM has compromised on this car, and that is something at this point I do not agree with. This car does not break any ground technologically. Everything has been picked from the bean-counters and made into one package, which to its credit is solid. Cadillac should not be that given it is aiming for a solid status. Given GM's engineering and technological capability they undersold this vehicle.
  5. Thanks a lot guys. Do you think she is C&G material?
