Exactly. Lexus needs the 'passion' part of the 'pursuit.' The LS is and always has been the Stoffers Bistro Classic, the paint-by-numbers kit, the Casio keyboard. Sure, it tastes good, looks good, and sounds nice, but its not Italian cuisine, a masterpiece, or a symphony. For all their flaws, Jaguar, Maserati, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, and Mercedes create cars of this caliber. Cadillac and Lincoln have in the past and can today if they wanted/could afford to. I don't know if Lexus ever can.
