Hmm...
Those things are like Ford Probes, i.e. I've seen maybe one in good condition.

Anyone want a 2005 Toyota Corolla Manual?
Sold like your mom...and for more money.

1992 pontiac sunbird
For some reason, I don't like the lazy-eyed Pontiacs with their semi-concealed headlamps. To me, it just looks like its broken. I love the slick look of the Skyhawk, though (plus its rarity), and also the Toronados with their hidden lamps

Quiet Tuning vs. Lexus ES 350
Maybe its me, but I like that Northstar growl. Lexus engines make no noise and are therefore boring. Let me add to this by saying that I'd rather here a more audible growl from under the hood than under the tires and that my opinion comes from barely hearing my own 4.0 V8 at idle, yet it comes to life under throttle, as opposed to an LS430 I drove, whose engine kept nearly silent under all conditions. I appreciate Lexus' achievement in this area, but it seems very mind-over-heart, very engineer > enthusiast, like printing out a Monet instead of having the real thing. Sure, its perfect, but it lacks that authentic, real texture. See, I knew that LS was quite faster than my car, you could see that plain as day. But the journey from x to xx mph just wasn't as...visceral. I know some people like to be completely isolated; that's fine. Its a preference thing. Just let me hear that sweet power when its being used. I notice many high-horse German cars also stay rather quiet at idle and low RPMs but roar like a bitch when pushed. Its how you know something's alive under there and, IMO, part of the reason you own a car with so much horsepower.

My sig is out of control
You could just format it like I do... "I just showed the top picture to our cat, and she jumped 6 feet straight up in the air and ran away." --Traderchpl, on the 2007 Chrysler Sebring

I'd actually like a Buick Skyhawk with hidden headlamps. Such a cute lil' thing.

New Rollover Safety Rules on Hold
And while that's true, if you drive pickups and SUVs how you're supposed to, you'll never rollover. Its the people (sorry, but women) who think an Explorer is their ZX2, but, like, totally taller and junk.

GM to Dealers: "No More Full Tank Freebies"
I'd rather see ABS standard across the whole lineup like it almost was in the past rather than reimbursing dealers (not consumers) for gasoline.

Sketch Competition #8 - GM @ NAIAS 2037
BuddyP, You may either enhance your hand-drawn artwork or - if you prefer - render it completely on the computer. However, if 100% rendered, it must also be 100% original. Modifying an existing image isn't rendering; its photoshopping and that would be a whole 'nother category of competition. That's basically it. Bearrunner44, I take it you need an extra day or so? Anyone else? If so, speak up now.

C&G Moments in Time
The foglamp trivia reminded me of the light-hating misplaced member who couldn't find the NHTSA dropbox or BlueOvalNews. I hear South African elections are being dominated by Nelson 'Candela' Mandella this year.

No spoiler option for Aura?
I would expect the RL to start a few grand above the XR and pretty much have no options aside from the stereo and (fingers crossed) a six-speed manual or automatic.

Solstice GXP in Oct. Motor Trend
The current Nissan Z is very overpriced for what it is.

Pontiac Grand Prix Reborn?
ZZZZZZZ Love the idea, though. MT hasn't been the pinnacle of accuracy in terms of renderings, though.

What we're dealing with here is a complete lack of respect for the...1973 Trans Am! Though, the '77 is more infamous...

Toyota: Moving Forward Slower
The Sienna makes sense to put extra work into. The Solara looks like crap in '07 form - how bad can you screw that one up? As for the Avalon, well, fourth time's a charm?

New G35 press release (including HP rating)
Meh. Its okay. The higher RPM audibles are better. I don't know what they did to the FX35, but it does sound awful. If that...crossover "thing" is a Bionic Cheetah, than it ate some ripe Bionic Antelope and emits real awful Bionic Flatulence.

No spoiler option for Aura?
I think that myself. I would except a spoiler option, body-colored trim where chrome now exists (blacked ribbing in the taillamps?), and opened up foglamp housings.
