Lexus Reveals 2007 LS 460
I see Lexus is becoming McLexus as in small, medium, large, and super size for design. Thank you, McBenz.

Ocn's quote of the day
What Oldsmoboi and Enzora said. After taking an '06 Avalon and '03 Lexus LS430 for a spin, I would describe the lack of engine noise as unnerving.

Camry named best-selling car again
Bonneville is not and has never, ever been a W-body car. H-bod from 1992-1999 and G-bod from 2000-05.

What is your anti drug?
Bad or not, pot is still currently illegal for the vast, vast, vast majority of us and that alone dissuades me from ever considering trying it. And the point remains, whatever you say on the internet tends to linger and perhaps come back and bite you, so be careful what you post.

What is your anti drug?
Guys, there's a lesson here - don't post what you don't want people to know and don't get pissed if someone brings up something you posted.

Camry named best-selling car again
Camry hasn't been a true benchmark since 1998 when that generation of Accord debuted. The '97 model was stagnant and the '02 redesign was a step backwards, bringing awkward styling with a completely misaligned interior design, and mediocrity. Every midsize car of the past half dozen years has excelled beyond the Camry in so many meaningful ways, except for the Stratus/Cirrus and Optima/old Sonata. I can see why the pre-97 Camry was so well-respected. Damnit, it was a great car in looks and everything. I don't see how anyone in their right mind can really believe the 2002-06 is anything but merely average.

Are more car brands heading for the junkyard?
1 - Aurora's glory days was like 10 years ago. What the H-? And grouping 'Toronado' and 'Aurora' with "Old and musty" shows a poor working knowledge of these vehicles and to whom they appealed and ultimately sold. It can be argued Oldsmobile changed its image too quickly. 2 - Isuzu is not "teetering on the brink;" it fell off about five years ago. 3 - Buick and Mercury have been "dying" for the past fifteen years. The idle specualtion is getting old. 4 - Volvo has struggled? News to me and probably to Ford. How about showcasing how Jaguar is struggling?

Many Chinese would rather have a Buick
Buick has had a long, long heritage in China, dating back to the 1920s I believe. Over there, even the rebadged Opels and GMDAT products like the Sail and Excell have status. Regal is respected in a way unheard of even in the model's heyday back in the States.

Buick year end sales
And for all the rental claims, fact is more LaCrosse were sold as retail compared to Regal/Centuries the year before. That means something. Ven is right about the LeSabre/Lucerne debacle. Lucernes are just now hitting the roads in this area, months and months after LeSabres stopped being built.

Odd police vehicles
Nothing really worth posting. FHP runs stealth Marauders, Pinellas Sheriff has a few second-gen Intrepids, and Largo used to have bubble Tauruses for the bike cops. That's about it. I saw an old Pinellas Sheriff Dept-colored squad car, a 60-something Pontiac (Bonneville?). Pretty neat.

07 Yaris
No, its not great, and its not that much greater than other GM models, yet its sure to cost far less than the Yaris. Plus, it doesn't look as woeful.

Chrysler Aspen Official Picture
I thought it was illegal to have something that dimensionally huge without extra running lights. How come everyone else can make it at least flow better, even on the more truckish last Escalade and even the last Durango? It doesn't help with a '61 Polara's worth of chrome sitting on it either. I suppose the similar-to-1961 crash ratings of the last Durango has something to do with it.

07 Yaris
This is one of the few articles that points out this trait amongst Toyota products. Say what you want about 10 round air vents and big, gray buttons, the instrument lights of a Pontiac all match each other. Worse yet, Toyota slaps admittedly nice-looking Optitron gauge clusters in every car yet uses the same 1988 pea-green backlighting for the HVAC/radio display. Awful and second only to Hyundai/Kia's laugable inclusion of old Panasonic VCR digital clocks in every...single...car, even 'luxury' poseurs like the Azera and Amanti. MPG not as good as the Corolla? Talk about a deal-breaker as there is now literally no reason to buy this car unless you desperately want a three-door hatchback.

Chrysler Aspen Official Picture
Hahahaha! Oh, Chrysler, you guys are too funny! Now show us the real Aspen. I'm so sick of that DCX truck underbite. Seriously, you could have a tailgate party on it.

Why not some of those low-line features? Keep in mind, this will be a cheaper alternative to those who don't need the full-frame durability and girth of a Sprinter.
