1. How's this... I'm not sure who I will vote for, but I know who I'm not voting for. *nods*
2. Registered.
3. Thanks, buddy. The only online registering I found for PA was one that you printed and mailed in. Interesting... Never heard of this and don't remember hearing anything about it when I got my license.
4. I've had a conversation with someone in sitting next to... in texting. Haha, it's fun. Although, usually there's a reason for it, such as a subject that others don't need to hear, etc.
5. *nods and agrees* Text messaging is easier, faster, and you're able to do it more often than you are phone calls.
6. Well, per the Jetta, after tearing its interior all apart and completely disassembling the sunroof, I didn't get it fixed. However, I did get it closed which is better than nothing with winter quickly coming around. Then, I got the remote and original keys I bought off of ebay, so I no longer have to use my key to work my alarm and no longer have to use a plain key in doing so. For $30 and getting a remote and two keys, I'd say I'm pretty satisfied. As well, I finally got it inspected and had it pass without needing anything. Hopefully, the next thing in the line of good news for the Jetta is new, badly needed, speakers. As far as I go, my only real line of good news is passing the GED test and recieving my diploma. Everything else should be left out of this thread.
7. Hah... What an interesting thread to revive. I don't think some people understood this wasn't a serious effort.
8. Rapide... Estoque... Decisions, decisions. Who knew sedans could be so sexy.
9. Eh, two Boxers and a terrier are too much for me, as it is. They're inside dogs, though, so most of the trouble they get in include chewing shoes, remotes, ruining furniture... and the ever popular using the carpet as their bathroom. Bastards.
10. My latest and greatest:
11. Last 5... Like a Stone - Audioslave Riot - Three Days Grace Serj Tankian - Blue Today - Smashing Pumpkins Trampled Under Feet - Led Zeppelin
12. I'll add... Why does Windows Media Player make it nearly impossible to keep album art to the songs it belongs to. Add album art to one artist and suddenly its added to random others. Try fixing those and even more artists have switched album art. I spent three extra hours putting music onto my Zen because of this... And they're still all mixed up. Such a pain in the ass.
13. The Unforgiven III - Metallica
14. QUOTE(Satty @ Sep 29 2008, 08:25 PM) OMG!!!!! Thats was probably the only Dodge Shadow driver to ever get laid. Well, I can say that Millenias work well enough, as do Cutlass's. *nods* I never did figure out how a Grand Am was... The Jetta is still in question thus far, as well.
15. Well... I don't have kids, but I have friends. They're expensive, too. *nods*

Halloween

This thread makes me laugh... Oh, the virtues I've forgotten of C&G. Myself, I'd like to dress up and do something this year. Haven't done a damn thing the past few years. Maybe I could try my first foray into drag... Or, on second thought, maybe not.
17. Crazy... I looked up how to interpret these scores and my average equates to the top 3-4% of students.
18. Well, to my surprise, my scores came in the mail today along with the official diploma. I suppose I'll post them. Subject - Score - Percentile Rank for U.S. Language Arts/Writing - 630 - 90% Social Studies - 640 - 92% Science - 660 - 95% Language Arts/Reading - 720 - 99% Mathematics - 620 - 88% Total - Average Score 3280 - 656 I'm not sure what the scores were out of, but the minimum for each was 410, with an average of 450 and total of atleast 2250. It's only got 74k The Beast still resides in our yard, sitting for sale. We're down to $500 for a selling price. No one seems to want it. My Dad is about ready to sell it for scrap.
19. Thanks, everyone. I put it off for a good two years. I figured it would have been more work than it was. I'm sort of kicking myself right now with the thoughts "That's all it took?!" Crazy. Hopefully, anyways. I just need to decide what I actually want to go for. It's still doing well, 6k miles later. I've been fixing little bits and pieces here and there, mainly interior pieces that were missing when I bought it. I also installed my Clarion receiver into it (This makes the third car it's been in, since 2004... I'd say it was a good purchase despite being $300). The only real problems I've had are little electrical glitches that come and go and those are just annoyances, more or less. Oh... and a friend of mine screwed up my sunroof, haha. I believe it's just off the track, but I haven't had time to tear down the headliner and look at it. Damn friends. Thanks. It's sort of odd not feeling the compulsion to visit C&G on a daily basis anymore. C&G doesn't seem to call out to me anymore. I'm not sure why. I guess, in some respects, I've been busy with life to think about this ol' place. If any of you guys ever needed to reach me, though, I'm on AIM 3 or 4 days a week, when possible. My screen name is the same one you all know and love. *nods*
20. My personal experiences with Win98, having used it for a good 8 years have been... let's say, less than stellar.
21. I finally took my GED test. I'm still awaiting official results, however, I heard that I passed with flying colors. I must say, I was shocked at how easy the test was. I went into it, having not studied beyond taking one practice test, expecting to fail. The first section, taking both Mathematics and Writing/Grammar wasn't hard in the least. For math, it was basics. For grammar, it was common sense. For writing, it was knowing how to write, which is clearly not that hard, unless we're talking about someone who has divulged themselves in rap and instant messaging slang. The second section, consisting of Science, Social Studies, and Reading, wasn't quite as easy, but still more so than I expected. For the former two, they pretty much supplied the answers in the questions and you just had to read into everything correctly. Not much of it really required knowledge of the subject. The S.S. part threw me for a few whirls, though, in that I couldn't always find a clear answer. Reading, well, anyone with basic reading comprehension could pass. Overall, as I've said, it was much easier than expected. I still figured I would have failed atleast one part. I'm glad to get it over and done with. I'll know my official scores within a week or two, I'd say
22. Mine: It's a Palm Centro with AT&T. I've had mixed feelings about it. First, AT&T service sucks in my area. If I have service, it's a celebration. However, my only real complaint with the phone itself is that the keyboard buttons are entirely too small. If you've ever used a Blackjack or a Blackberry... cut those buttons in half and space them just a millimeter or two apart and you have the Centro. Pain in the ass for texting.
23. Being that I am gay and have gay friends... I have been forced to like alot of artists/bands that I never have otherwise.
24. All I am going to add is... Vista gets on my nerves to no end. It has some cool features and graphics when it comes to the user interface, but it reminds me more of our old Windows 98 POS than anything else when you actually have to do anything outside of just browsing the desktop. For all the more I do on my computer, I would think a Mac would suit my needs without being such an annoyance. Granted, XP worked fine for me. It was much more stable than Vista and was problem free up until the virus ruined it.
25. Well... my current playlist sucks. I'm currently trying to find something worth listening to. I suppose this happens when you put every song you have on shuffle. I'll list some of the notables as I search. "Whiskey Lullaby" - Brad Praisley "Alive" - P.O.D. "I Hate Everything About You" - Three Days Grace "Brainstew" - Green Day "In Bloom" - Nirvana "Hair of The Dog" - Nazareth "So Cold" - Breaking Benjamin "Apologize" - One Republic "I Kissed A Girl" - Katy Perry "Scars" Papa Roach "Somebody Someone" - KoRn "Closer" - Nine Inch Nails "What I've Done" - Linkin Park "Dream On" - Aerosmith "Sexyback" - Justin Timberlake "Here In Your Arms" - Hellogoodbye
