The ACORN falls not far from The One tree
I was never a big fan of Hillary Clinton, however, I sort of feel like I'd rather vote for her than either Obama or McCain. *shrugs*

Apologetic
"Why can't we all just get along?" Personally, I try to stay out of the politically derived threads because I know I'd embarrass myself.

"Vicinity of Obscenity" by SOAD for most callers, however, I always have my phone on vibrate.

American Family Association ends McDonalds boycott
I dislike McDonald's as is. Just gives me one more, very big, reason not to eat there.

Dropped another 10 cents to $3.09. At this rate, it'll be $2.95 by the weekend.

Hershey 2008
I went yesterday. The most I have to say is that I should have planned it better. I didn't arrive there until 6 pm after some problems with my directions and not leaving until 2 pm. I didn't really get to see much. Seen some amazing cars in what I did see, however. I'd love to drive back Saturday, but I don't know if I can put up with another 400 miles of driving. I'm beat, and down about $100 (granted, only $40 from gas). Another trip might be too much for me. Also, I tried to get some pictures, but it was just getting dark when I started. Not to mention I was taking them with my cellphone. If any turn out, I'll attempt to post them.

2008 Fall Carlisle
I made it out there yesterday. It wasn't until 6 pm that I arrived, thus, I didn't get to see much. What I did see had me gawking in amazement. I'd love to drive out again on Saturday, but I don't think I'm up for another 400 miles of driving. I'm beat.

Hershey 2008
I take back my comment about Saturday in Hudson's thread. I'm actually just going to drive down tomorrow. I'll be going down to Altoona as it is... and that will give me someone to go with. I'll PM you my cell if you happen to go.

2008 Fall Carlisle
I'll have to look into seeing whether driving down Saturday is a possibility or not. Would certainly to be fun to finally go to something like that.

2009 Toyota Avensis
The Avensis isn't very attractive... However, I'm curious about that picture of the Cruze. Where is that set of photography located at? It's the most flattering I've seen thus far. It actually looks acceptable in that picture.

We're down to $3.19 in Brookville... I can't wait for it to drop below $3 a gallon.

The green streak
Oh, that's nothing... I rode around in a fully restored and customized '66 Chevy pick-up tonight. Damn Cobalt drivers thinking they're the $h!. *shakes head*

Should I get a beater?
Sort of different, but I'm considering fixing the Millenia up now that I can somewhat afford to do so. It would be nice to have a second vehicle to save the Jetta from racking up so many miles (It's hard to believe I've already put almost 7k miles on it since June). Not to mention that I simply miss driving the poor ol' thing and hate seeing it deteriorate in the yard. However, as much as I want to, I know I'm not going to get any of that money back. Some sacrifices can be made, but I don't know about one such as that. Perhaps not now, atleast.

Pardon my ignorance as I tend not to follow these car shows, but, what's going on in Hershey?

thinking green
I'd say that's not a problem. It looks off-road ready as is.

I'm sick of the negaivity.
Well, there's not much to be done about the sunroof thats cheaper or simpler than buying a whole new one. Otherwise, it's doing good, and yes, it's an auto. Could certainly use a transmission fluid change as it likes to shift hard at times, but that could be a result of the shift programming as well. For example, it will not shift into 4th until I am over 40 mph. Never fails. If I knew of a way to reprogram the shift points, I'd be golden. That, plus a fifth ratio. Those two are all that's really holding this car back from getting 30+ mpg. I suppose I could always swap in a 5spd if I acquired the time and money to do so...

Am I the only one?
Certainly. A friend of mine is actually going for the write-in option. He's just too devoted to Hilary. He wishes to wear his Hilary mask and "got experience?" shirt while voting, as well. I haven't really declared my position, but I'm sure who we both will not vote for are one in the same. Just ask Chris.
