  1. Like others, I usually only do so online. I like to shorten Millenia to Milly all the time here, yet, I always say the full name while speaking.
  2. *Applauds* Very well laid out plan with many good ideas.
  3. Tool - Schism. I've been in a Tool mood.
  4. I officially ordered a Canon Powershot SX10 as birthday gift to myself. *nods* It should be arriving tomorrow sometime. I can't wait.
  5. Glad to hear you survived. I've been around wrecks and they aren't any fun, and I haven't been the one involved. Scary things.
  6. Tool - Vicarious.
  7. Driving in the snow is the only good thing about snow and winter in general. Otherwise, it's my least favorite time of the year.
  8. Thanks, guys.
  9. Linkin Park - In The End
  10. There's a car half-sunk into a embankment along this old dirt road. I ought to take a picture someday. I could never identify it.
  11. I should also forward you to this link for a good deal on it. Clicky
  12. Haha... Ironic, that is the same camera I'm looking to buy. Great minds think alike.
  13. Thanks. A $h!ty one. It's also known as a Nikon Coolpix L4. I hope to be buying myself a new one for Xmas. Or maybe my birthday. Both are coming up soon.
  14. Sorry to hear. I'm 600 miles away from hitting 80k in the Jetta, having put over 11k on it thus far. It's still problem free. My only costs have been for tires and other relatively minor items (not to mention a few accessories I felt inclined to buy).
  15. I took these a good month ago. I just haven't gotten to posting them yet, so here they are. These were taken the same day, but they include a church rather than a fall theme.

Better tires would have helped a bit, yes. As I mentioned, though, this car is very surprising. It handled those speeds very well for what it is. It was stable and fairly smooth. It didn't feel loose at all, as if turning the wheel a bit too suddenly would mean tragedy. It's a decently confident car at high speeds for its size.
  17. I've heard the single on the radio. It's not bad, but... Eh. For as long as Axl took to get the album out, I was expecting a masterpiece.

It did take a few miles of road. Luckily I-80 has some pretty good straight stretches. However, it wasn't until I hit 110, that the speed in which it was gaining really started to taper off. It has a nice little sweet spot around 90-100 where it rides smoothly and feels very spunky for high speeds. It's a surprising little car. It's no sports car or even a modern family sedan, but I wouldn't have thought I could hit 120+ with only 116 horses on hand. It officially topped out at 123 mph, rev limited. I did this a few weeks ago when the weather wasn't so bad.

I needed a slight jolt of excitement... Plus, I was curious what the Jetta could do.
  20. *covers eyes* Oops, I think I stepped into the wrong thread.
  21. Gas finally hit sub-$2 prices in Brookville. Currently at $1.96 and hopefully it will be lower yet when I have to fill up in a day or two.
  22. I kind of like it. It's not what I expected.
