  1. Well... I suppose at the price that you got it, you could always do an engine swap to get rid of that horrible engine.
  2. While quite subjective, it's simply ugly. I am against ugly. Perhaps you're not and you are a fan of ugly. Who am I to judge? I'm just someone with taste and not everyone can be as great as I. *nods* Getting serious for a moment, I actually agree with much of what you say in your post to Hyper... Besides your thoughts of Lutz and the lengths you go to defend the 'gem' that is the G6 GXP. I especially agree about the Solstice, concept versus production. I figured I was the only one who thought the production version wasn't close enough to the concept, which was pure sex on wheels. The new targa helps, but it's still lacking compared to the wild orange coupe. And to think, some within GM dare to call the concept cartoonish. As well, I was always a huge fan of the Rageous. All it needed was to be cleaned up a bit and it would have made a great addition to Pontiac's lineup. Again, though, I cannot agree about the G6 GXP. Per the functional aspect, the styling add-ons do not improve the performance any over the GXP without the Street Package. I will say, though, I'd much rather be seen in the 'Bugs Bunny Edition' G6 than my Cutlass. Oh, how great it would be to drive a vehicle with more than enough usable power, decently entertaining handling, and sleek looks, even if its American Rice at its worst.
  3. Happy birthday, good Sir.
  4. We're Pontiac fans that aren't blind. No, the G6 GXP is ugly. You see, I like attractive Pontiacs, not ugly ones. For example, I love 4th gen Firebirds, especially the Firehawks. They are the pinnacle of modern Pontiac styling. The G6 GXP? Not so much... It's more tacky and ricey than anything. It's not like an EVO or STI at all. Those two have meaningful, functional styling with the performance to match. The G6 GXP has neither. Average performance bested by bland family sedans with some tacked on ground effects, a buck tooth grill, and cartoonish spoiler. The same could be said for the Grand Prix and its GXP variant. There's a difference between being over the top and being a complete failure. The 4th gen Firebirds are over the top in a tasteful way while the G6 GXP is just a stylistic failure, pure and simple.
  5. Mine are all the same and have been for 8 years. Good old Blackviper8891. I was evil at the time and thought it sounded dark and has the my birth year backwards. Although, I do have two spare screen names that I use on occasion... Milliamori95 and BCVW8891. The former is easy to figure out... Millenia shortened + love in spanish + yeah of the Milly. Yep. And the latter... a combo of my regular screen name in initials with my regular name's initials.
  6. Variety? They were all V8 muscle cars. How boring!
  7. Those who dislike Saab need to see the light. I love Pontiac, but come on, there's no reason for this bickering over Saab. I agree with Z.
  8. Another vehicle that's outside my parameters that I find tempting. Clicky.
  9. The third one is actually pretty good, but I agree that the second sucked and the first is the best.
  10. I think you're crazy. I absolutely love metallic black.

    *blink*

I remember looking outside and seeing snow.. and wondering if I were seeing things. Wasn't expecting it in the least and not too happy about it.
  12. Cemetery Gates - Pantera
  13. Is it really that expensive to incorporate an antenna like the XLR's which lies beneath the sheetmetal? That would be best for this car.
  14. I really don't get the point of this article. It... states the obvious.
  15. Rusty Cage - Johnny Cash
  16. I'm quite bored... No Leaf Clover - Metallica
  17. Longview - Green Day
  18. Billie Jean - Chris Cornell
  19. *bites teeth* Congrats.
  20. A step up from the Millenia? Is that possible?! Honestly, I loved my Grand Am. I didn't love the engine, however. The 3100 fixes my only real gripe about the car, though it gives me another with the transmission affixed to it. I'm not really looking for a car to compare to my Millenia... or else I'd just get another Millenia. This is why I'm considering more than luxury sedans. I'm open to compacts, roadsters, coupes, etc. None are really comparable to my Millenia. I'm more or less looking for a car that isn't going to be a pain in the ass like the Cutlass. One could argue that Grand Am could be, but then so could any vehicle. It's a matter of finding one that was well taken care of. Plus, as mentioned, I have emotional ties to these Grand Ams, being that my first car was one. This is all besides the fact that the automatic tranny essentially removes it from consideration. If only... Also, no, you can't find a decent 99+ Grand Am GT for $3300. You can hardly find a decent one for $5000, atleast not in my area.
  21. Doesn't Remind Me - Audioslave
  22. You all know I love Fieros, but they're out. It'd be too much of a project, even if I found one that was babied. Plus, I would only consider an 88 Formula/GT with the 5spd... And those are impossible to find in good condition for a respectable price. Not that hard, actually. I've found a few before... and I'm pretty sure I've never been with a celebrity. Do myspace whores count? Actually, there's this one car that tempts me because of personal reasons... and if it were had a manual transmission, I'd probably be sold on it. Clicky.
  23. Certainly cool, but being in NC and with 5 minutes left...
  24. ...To no longer being annoyed by the Beast. I joined a credit union yesterday. Now it's just a matter of finding a vehicle I like... perhaps the hardest part of all. I started looking for cars over two months ago and I've really only found two I thought were worth purchasing. They both didn't last very long before they were sold. Otherwise, I can't seem to find anything that I could realistically see myself driving. Most of the time, there's just something about each vehicle that puts me off. Generally, something like price, mileage, transmission (I really don't want another automatic), condition, or desirability (there has to be some appeal to it). I can't find a good combination of all that. I'm more or less open to just about anything that's a car (no trucks, SUVs, minivans, or crossovers), "traitor" comment inducing Toyotas (though you won't see me in a Camry or Corolla), included. I've looked at just about everything thus far. I wish a few of the vehicles I've come across over the past year were still available.
  25. I'm a better driver when I shift my own gears. Autos make me lazy and desire to listen to Cyndi Lauper. Its true, it makes you less of a man.
