I cant figure out what car is burning at the 37 second mark....any ideas?
-
A beautifully detailed late model Escalde rolls up to ones of the Lowes I frequent sometimes when i am there....ladder racks and guy sues it to haul concrete. Go figure. and it's like a two year old Escalate, not like a twelve year old one.
-
Impressive cleanup of an Escalade, not sure how people elt their cars get that crappy.

Rivian looks amazing. "Blu wouldn't settle for a crappy ICE, why should you settle for a crappy EV? Get what you want!- 20 replies

Our inability to think clearly about any major issue as a society is much more of a problem than the Virus itself.

I don't think you are the target demographic. Metrosexual urban yuppies who are foodies with identically decorated condo's in identical buildings who live identical bland and unremarkable urban lives are. It might do well in that segment. The bland transportation pods we all have been dreading. At some point, cities without cars, where everyone bikes or uses public transport, might be the way to go. This thing is bland and souless enough to make me wish that day a reality.- 20 replies

There is nothing "beautiful" in the market segment, regardless of MAZDA and it's endless youtube advertising trying endlessly to sell me a CX-5.- 20 replies

All 3 have zero appeal to me personally. But I hope VW does well. This should be more comfortable and more nicely packaged than the Honda or Toyota in my opinion. I want to go back to third grade when Big Pontiacs ruled the road....everything since has been a disappointing anticlimax. If one thinks of "Climax" in sexual terms, this V Dub is about as Sexy as the meditation of a celibate Buddhist monk. ...and still a full three feet shorter than her Shrek like husband. She's absolutely beautiful, David doesn't realize what a lucky dude he is., A forgettable CUV for a forgettable market segment. Can we go back to being an enthusiast platform... or to ask the question another way...what does THAT celibate Buddhist monk feel when he runs his hands over dashboard plastic?- 20 replies

I ate lunch outside, it was fantastic. I need this as a driveway mate to the Ranger I think... Or a Fox body like this one...

Or skip all of the above and buy a Wrangler. -
Maybe the rain can put out or prevent some wildfires.

They were an absolute hoot. I think my missing small nimble cars and the fun I had autocrossing is why I am now finding myself interested in off roading or other vehicular adventures. Because the small nimble cars are never coming back. I don't see why the average modern human would want either of the two. That being said, Daughters boyfriend has a modded 350 that I find beautiful. -

This makes me incredibly sad, because I realize what all we have lost. We are more likely to get an interesting car out of Mercury, Studebaker or Kaiser at this point than out of Nissan. -
Lifted and rolling on 44's rolling coal!

On a positive note, great day here in Columbus.

Actually I think the Roman face looks Badass. In some ways I like it better than the Gladiator, and am crushing hard on the Gladiator at the moment.

OMG.....I could afford 30K! I am making extra payments on the Ranger and took a five year note rather than a six year because I want to own the next toy. That being said....my 55 Chevy...my 66 Fastback Mustang...My 2002 Miata that I raced, and my TDI 2015 Jetta I think Join with the Ranger as my 5 favorite cars. Ever owned....of all of them...and I have owned over 30, many of them long term. Too early to tell on the Ranger for sure...but a very intense honeymoon period with it right now. . The slow thing is why I bought 2wd, regular cab, light on the options with the Ranger. Plenty of power, but lean more towards that Ford Motorsports tune every time I pull out into traffic. Getting back to "Blu...." Do you ever see yourself putting a more aggressive but still street derivable tire on your truck? I have all terrains on the Ranger and love them. Thinking when I hit 40 or 50K I want to put something like a B F Goodrich K02 on the truck. Think it might be cool if you did something similar.

The holy grail of GM trucks...with one more hole...sorry, couldn't resist, this sucks for 'Blu. Starting to fanboy on the Colorado, love the new Sand Dune ZR2 only color for 2021. I honestly could see picking a ZR2 over a Gladiator if I was going to blow 45 or 50 grand on a midsize truck.
-
That's a feature not a fault...the car/truck in question can burn to the ground so it can match the rest of the country....urban or rural...right or left...we have gotten damn good at burning things down in 2020.
-
That does suck...

Unicorn farts work well for me. In all seriousness...I love the Blue on Blu's truck but have seen a bunch of them in black. And I park by a nearly identical truck in white every morning at work. It looks good in black and white also. But it strikes me that ZR2 with the Bison package is 90 percent of the goodness of a Raptor with none of the drawbacks. I can get a ZR2 Bison through my local carwash... something I can't do with a Raptor. Also...much better to try to get a ZR2 into a parking garage when I go to a hockey game than a Raptor. And as much as I like the Gladiator...love it actually...after a 66 Fastback Mustang...a 55 Chevy...two Miatas...a Beetle...a Cooper S...I am kind of ready for something with sleek modern styling. The Colorado does that in spades. You create zero hot air here so...that is consistent with solar energy.

One reason to go Electric! On a positive note, this is gorgeous. I brew my own at home, saves lots of money.
-
The hot air and greenhouse gas created by the fruitless bickering here is far more damaging to the environment than a coal rolling F350 Superduty, actually. It might Spark a love of electric vehicles.
