  1. It looks fantastic in all trims....but top trims especially.
  2. My daughter is a claims adjuster. She wrote off a one year old Soul...with warranties and options, was out the door for 32 Grand. Wrecked and totaled as a one year old vehicle....payout was 12 grand...woman was a teacher who bought soul as a retirment present to herself. She did not buy GAP insurance. Hell yes buying used makes sense. We paid 16 Grand for the beetle R with 15 K miles on it....it stickered for 32 grand new. So much sarcasm being held back here...good thing Cheers and Gears has a PG rating on humor.
  3. Good luck to you in your search when you start looking.
  4. Would make sense.
  5. The Monte Carlo SS of the oughts was an entirely forgettable car outside of the NASCAR heritage paint schemes dealers painted them in.
  6. Factory made VW half cab, very rare.
  7. One of my favorite Italian Sports Cars.
  8. It lacks the sound soul and fury of the flat six Porsche has had since forever. Give me the 6 over the four. The Push rod V8 a lot of people can handle....not naming names...
  9. Damn fine!
  10. Exactly. That is the only place I like a Turbo 4. Being up in the power band is good for auto X and spirited driving. GS is more of a grand tourer than a sports car. And a damned fine V6 that is. Fusion Sport Please. I think it out classes the GS just in terms of ride quality and usefulness. Not interested in a midsized car that is under powered, thank you. I have had that very thought myself...
  11. In a lighter car like an Evo, GTI, WRX, Cooper S, or the like Turbo 4's seem about right. However, Porsche killed the Boxter/Cayman IMHO with the addition of a 4 pot.
  12. CTS isn't considered midsized?
  13. Most AWD systems are now so good I would not want to disable them.
  14. Yeah...even I am impressed by that. Compared to the crappy 1.5 in the Malibu, the cheap feel of the Maxima, and faults with other cars...lack of sound deadening in the Mazda 6...it seems like a real sweet spot. I know you would prefer a Charger but I have an odd fetish for the SHO Taurus also. To be fair a part of me would also prefer a Charger V8 to the Taurus...
  15. Nice!
  16. I can't get the Fusion Sport out of my head though....white one lives on campus here in Columbus....I feel unnatural good vibes every time I walk past it. Depends on the NA V6. Lots of guys I worked with in the trades had fantastic luck with V6 Rangers that ran for decade or better.
  17. My thought was GM needs to keep a V6 option around for mid sized cars.
  18. I love this photograph.
  19. The big GMC Denali trucks grow on me all of the time.
  20. Nissan has had the same NA V6 for like forever in the Maxima....seems to work for them. Of course, being mated to a CVT...
  21. More to follow...
