I was kinda thinking fun to drive. The current generation of Dodge trucks are nothing short of spectacular.
-
That exhaust note would never age. I could drive that car for light years at 55 MPH behind a W body impala....and leave the Galaxy before I tired of it.
-
All of those passed through my head also. Best value of all of these dollar for dollar...pains me to say it but....Edge ST...hands down.
-
Holy Sch!%% Sherlock...when you cast shade....you don't eff around. I am glad I am not your wife....I would hate to be in a marital dispute with you. Best come back in twelve years on C and G. Has anyone ever thought that maybe by accepting sub par products from carmakers we enable mediocrity? in 1970...we would not have accepted a badge engineered Opel/Peugeot for a Buick....or a Wreath and Crest slapped on a Pontiac Safari wagon for a Cadillac....but if we accept the GS and the XT6 that is kind of what we are doing.

This is almost hot enough to make me take back every negative comment I have made about Ford...this is utterly amazing.
-
Both excellent choices.

And I think my problem with this (one of my two favorite Asian cars) is that it is a bargain at a little over 30K for a base model. Same thing with the special edition WRX STI we looked at here in another thread....base WRX is a deal in the twenties....option it up into the 40's as a premium STI and other things are much better use of money. Question for William and everyone else....if you had 45-50K to spend on a car and it could be anything other than a WRX STI or a Stinger....what would it be? New only. Not to derail thread....but I can't help thinking other vehicles would be that much money better spent. Premium Mustang GT for me.

No kidding, right....!

I can't take my eyes off of the Mustang in the background....holy cats is that beautiful also! Perfect for a cold snowy day. I have a weakness for old 4 door American iron...this is just about perfect....
-
I can't see flat as being any advantage.

I am starting to like this car (G70). Saw one in Columbus the other day and started feeling the goose-bumpish stuff I normally only feel for Pontiac GTO and Mazda Miata level cars...
-
Much as I like the Stinger...parked a relatives Jaguar next to one in a swanky part of Fort Lauderdale...if the Stinger was any more British it would run on tea and crumpets rather than Petrol. The one somewhat unique car they build the Veloster seems to have been drawn by Pablo Picasso on meth.

Vehicle: Mazda MX-5 Miata (2016)

First year of any vehicle has issues. Would love to own one of these. -
Yep. Much as I would like this as a sedan....in many ways the 33k Mustang GT blows it away. Would like modern styling of the Stinger over the Retro styling of the Mustang...but...mechanically...Ford Powertrain has it all over this. Now a modern mustang based sports sedan....we might be talking.

Or a car like the A4 or Stinger...or a car like the Regal...kind of like Aubrey Plaza whom I liked in the other thread vs. the grouchy and dowdy lady who takes your money at the DMV. Lincoln so owns the segment with the Aviator...and the new Navi is fantastic. Reality has little bearing on most of our discussions here. Stop trying to confuse the matter.
-
Even with my anti Ford bias Lincoln wins that one hands down. I really sense this Buick will be a dud. Seriously.
-
I don't think so. And the Duramax does not have the hood heights issue. Pickups have lots of room under the hood.
-
Fuel economy is a bit disappointing.
-
Will read both reviews but as is....would not even darken the door of my local Buick dealer for a test drive with the Stinger on the market. Open my mind and convince me....
-
...and this is the kind of response I am really looking for. I will probably never autocross again, but want a sporty comfy car for long freeway trips that also will handle well on two lane back roads. You and me both!

This 56 Wagon just "does it for me" in so many different ways.

Since I have to work in my garage all weekend...heat wave getting here right on time.

The Audi is much better looking IMHO....and I am not just saying that to be difficult. Between this and an A4....the Buick would not have much to offer IMHO.
