    A 2019 EVO vs WRX comparison would be great if the EVo had stayed in production...but it didn't. My point on new vs used was that 48 K was a ton of scratch for a new Imprezza. how is this...new to new...at 48 grand for the special edition in question...you are approaching Shelby Mustang or Vette Money for a 4 cylinder econobox?

    I actually like the GMC, Ford, and Ddoge....But like the RAM and Ford more than the GM product. Would proudly drive any of the above though no questions asked.

    Sucks to get sick. Just starting to feel the creeping crud coming on...right before I drive another coach and 5 debaters to ST. Louis for a 3 day tournament. Just had a talk with the wife...she is a very traditional and conservative type. And yet she strongly prefers getting another sport compact to a small SUV for the next car. Kind of nice to be 53 married to a 52 year old...and not quite grown up.

    The above being said...holy crap batman...both WRX and Evo have fallen a bit in resale value around here. Yes...I like the WRX better but a couple of the Evos at the Buckeye Miata Club autocross do well. And looking at used CTS...prices falling there also. Going to have fun buying the next car.

    Hate to say it but both Ford and Ram build a better looking product.

    Good to know on the 9 speed. I like Cadillac but not really a caddy kind of a guy...so Import it probably will be. Strongly prefer WRX to Evo but that is pretty much the way I roll.

    Convertibles, coupes, wagons, et al also. Part of me is really starting to like the lineup a bit as an enthusiast. Not a fanboi....but they do seem to want my money.

    Not terribly sure this is Cadillacs best effort. I expect more from the brand...honestly. GM has had no shortage of fantastic ideas...sadly they have also had a few that qualified as dumpster fires.

    Every mitsu power plant ever built though went into Gods own original pentalty box of a car. Hard pass from me as an enthusiast. I do like the previous generation evos...but not enough to want to own one. And yes enough people disagree with me that resale vales are really high. As are Saab and reliability and resale. There is a reason dead brands are dead brands.

    Cadillac, Benz, Lincoln, Acura...the other luxury cars we talk smack about around here...probably crash test more cars than Genesis sells. The only car Hyundai and Kia have built that is interesting from an enthusiast standpoint is the Stinger. Hyundais small SUV (Kona?) is not bad looking. They market the Soul well but I am not a fan of the Soul. Hyundai and Kia are pretty much dead brands to me. At least with Nissan one has the GTR.
