    In contrast, I have lost interest in actually owning vintage cars for awhile, and I want to race modern stuff. Although I would rock something like a 1965 Lotus Cortina or a Vintage TR-3 Triumph in a heartbeat... The vintage vehicle I really want is a GM truck, prefer 49-55...as a mild retro style street rod...

    I need a neon tube bender to make interesting designs in my under car neon...you got a neon tube bender, or a fluorescent tube bender? Or a radiator hose for my Corvair....? J/K....good luck with your auto parts career!

    Not sure my earlier posts came across right...I'm not bitter against Saab...but they kind of lost what made them unique. Love old Saab rally cars, and I always thought a 9-3 convertible could be cool. I've even thought of finding an older model and building it up as an SCCA rallycross car. I would like to have seen what would have been offered in 2017 had they been able to re-acquire their unique identity. When my 18 year old son Joel took his drivers test, the woman giving the test was a huge Saab fan...they spent the hour after he took his test cruising around in the Miata and talking about vintage Saab rally cars.

    I like the way you think, sir....Jetta, Flex, volvo, A4 wagon....Subies...all right up my alley! Exactly...my son might well be buying our Scion off of us, and we've been looking at Camaro's, GTI's, C30's. and Mustangs...with the occasional Challenger thrown in. With good credit it's actually cheaper for me to buy a used 2011 at 20-21k than a 2007 or 2008 at 15-17K...amazing but true.

    Saab had some excellent ideas with the next gen cars....it would be nice if you could get some of the cool of Saab back and keep it alive.
