  1. ...not really sure about this, but given enough time I think he'll start acting a little more grown up. Chris
  2. As a huge fan of both the original and new mini/MINI, I would have to agree! Chris
  3. Those pics are great, thanks for posting them. Always did like the third gen Camaro bodystyle. Chris
  4. Mine too, but I think a modern day version of the original 240Z would be even better. Chris
  5. +1 Were we to actually get someone who was competent and held some sort of "conservative' fiscal policy that actually wasn't delusional, and was also a Republican, I would vote for them. However, the current crop of Republicans is a disaster. No matter how bad Obama is he can be NO worse than Bush, IMHO. I still think McCain is a bush re-tread. Chris
  6. I pretty much have to have a beard. I can shave clean at 6 AM and have a full 5 O clock shadow by 9:00 AM, and I'm not kidding about this. The guys at work used to call me Rabbi Yoder because they weren't sure if I was Jewish or Amish. Actually, I've had people think that I was cuban as well. But I don't think a beard fits very well in the corporate world. I've thought if I could ever get an electric razor that worked well I could shave 4-5 times a day and go for the clean shaven look... But that's about what it would take for me. Actually I kind of think most men look sort of silly without facial hair. Chris
  7. I agree. Thats a fine looking car! Chris
  8. More troubling to me is the state of our educational system. My wife works for a local University, and from what I can see and tell we seem to be loosing our ability to think about things as a society. Chris
  9. ...nahhh, you need a Viper. For thye price of a new GTR you could pick up two clean Vipers used. But a GTR would be sweet. Chris
  10. There is, but Sixty Eight drove a Datsun Forever, Carbiz and his BF/Husband/Partner are driving around in a Korean built car, Oldsmoboi IIRC is riding around in his BF's Honda since the battlewagon sold, You drive a Prius, Siegen drives an Acura Integra IIRC, I drive a Miata, half the people here lust after Nissans, Lamar drives a Nissan or two IIRC, Dodgefan drives a Prizm which is basically a Toyota, Moltar doesn't hate anybody or anything, Duncan drove a Mazda, BV drove a Mazda before the Volkswagen, etc. And lets face it, the Asians build some crappy cars as well as some brilliant ones. The RX-7 and RX-8 are brillaint IMHO, the Tundra is moronic IMHO. Chris
  11. Actually I think it would be really cool to have an African car company. I know a lot of very artistic African Americans, and my son Joel is going to a high School (http://www.artcollegeprep.com) for the arts that is mostly African American. There are some really cool students at his school, and I would just LOVE to see what a different culture could come up with in terms of cars. I bet it would be a damn site better than a Camry! Chris
  12. I know this is a GM board, but to me the 1970 Boss 302 trumps damn near every other car on the planet, a Ferrari F40 included. He gave us some fine cars. Chris
  13. I love the way the boster four cyl counds in an STI. That almost sells the car for me. Chris
  14. This is one of those awesome cars that you have a near sexual reaction to when you see it. I don't think any photograph does this car justice. The exhaust note on those is cool also. We used to do site lighting repair down from Team Rahall, and we used to do Electrical work for Team Rahall here in Columbus. Honda makes some great sounding race motors, and the sound of an NSX just puts a chill up my back. Thanks for the pics, Siegen! BTW, Silver and Red also look great on that car also. Chris
  15. Ditto to two of your Ideas. I like the idea of a modern Prelude, I am still thinking about buying an older prelude in good shape. Great driving car, the last gen was probably one of the best driving cars of the 1990's, esp for a FWD car. Don't even get me started on the rotary thing, I am having a real hard time stayhing away from the RX-8 as it is. As a sports sedan, that would just kick ass. Chris
  16. Congrats...GREAT Choice...I know you will be happy with this. Also, sooo glad to see that you got the moonroof. So nice for a ride with the Mrs. in the evening... Good luck and keep us posted, I think you did great! Chris
  17. Keep us posted, Satty! Chris
  18. I can not wait. Reg has driven more cars than Consumer Reports looking for his next ride.... But I am guessing HHR. Chris
  19. Sadly, this is what people want. I am not religious per se, but went with my 18 year old aughter to church last Sunday at her request. She goes to one of those big Mega Churches sometimes. Of the 700+ cars in the parking lot, there was 1 Mustang GT and 1 Chrysler 300, and other than the Miata I drove over in, there was nothing even resembling an enthusiast car in the parking lot. But TONS of camry's and such. Which is why Toyota is getting rich. People want 97 flavors of Camry, for whatever reason. Chris
  20. I would keep SAAB if possible, if it could be made profitable enough. I like the heritage of the company. However, Hummer needs to go and Saturn needs serious help. Chris
  21. I would agree. Chris
  22. Actually we almost bought my wife a Fit. Was not sure I was going to like the new car, like this even better than prev. edition. Fit is a great small car, I actually LOVE this Honda product. They just nailed the driving dynamics for this thing. Seriously. Between the Fit and the Civic SI, Honda builds some sweet driving cars. Chris
  23. I would agree, sir. Chris
  24. This is awesome-here in central Ohio, we have a guy named Farmer who has one of these that's an original factory Hemi car. IIRC he nostalgia drag races it fairly regularly. Chris
  25. We need to reverse it and get a real creative class in this country to start making things we actually want to buy and own. Chris
