  1. Actually there is a very famouns 68 or so Dodge Dart Hemi GTS pro street ragtop that was on the cover of Car Craft or Hot Rod a few years back...and then fell into decay...and then was restored to its former ground pounding glory. Apparently the roll cage in the car was taken out when one of the owners wives was too big to fit in the car with the cage. I actually like my females curvy. But not "huge" Chris
  2. I feel as though GM is screwed anyways...pretty much. But I don't think Oil will stay that low. I think the people buying new F-150's and Tundras are the ones who will be screwed. Chris
  3. Keep us posted! Chris
  4. +1. Too bad most people won't check this out for themselves. Regardless of who wins in November, we need to get Big Oil and their lobbyists OUT of control in Washington. Chris
  5. Sadly, I've found that few people inside or outside of media are interested in reality. Carbiz, O.C., it's too bad you guys don't have kids. You should try explaining "reality" to a teenager. Chris
  6. Sadly, I think your right. Chris
  7. I wonder where these Idiots live. TheSHO looks like an Ohio vehicle...Lord knows enough people here in Ohio would drive something like that. Be glad, be very glad that you and Cmino live in PA. I think your level of inbreeding is less there. Chris
  8. +1. I still think Camino needs one Ranchero just "because" Although that might be like getting Sixty-Eight to drive a non-hardtop FWD car. Chris
  9. +1 Chris
  10. +1 Chris
  11. ...almost...if she has hips so big that she can't fit in my Miata or in a Solstice...that is a BAD sign. Chris
  12. Camino, it is for sure the worst driving car I've ever driven. A 38 Olds on four bad bias ply tires drives/handles better. I just hate the driving dynamics of the Prius. Chris
  13. I would love to see the Alfa MiTo come here. I like that and some of the other small euro cars. +1 On the Fiat thing. Chris
  14. Outboard (like a Johnson outboard boat motor?) Chris
  15. ...assuming it would work out that way...yes. But a lot of chryco customers might go somehwere elese other than GM. Chris
  16. Hmmm....+1 on the Olds version... Chris
  17. WOW! Wish I could buy a small diesel car like that now. MINI sells a diesel in europe that gets that kind of fuel economy, IIRC. Chris
  18. I don't like the VW six, actually. It just doesn't feel "right" somehow to me. And the Passat seems to lack the handling of some of the smaller VW products. Passats seemed to be the worst for reliability amoung the VW's. It will be interesting to see how American Labor changes or improves the reliability thing. I do know the cars built in Brazil and Mexico have had their fair share of problems. Chris
  19. Glad to see it running. this has been a very bad day, and seeing the wagon up and under its own power is a nice way to end things. Chris
  20. ...and as an Off topic aside, local Pontiac dealer has a Solstice GXP with black leather and a tan top, car is white. Nice combo! Just wish I felt better about the economy/my job. Chris
  21. Kappa's are WAY under rated. There is a reason I want a Sky/Solstice in my garage! Chris
  22. Sadly, I think your right. What bother me is that when I look back at say the 1960's Chrysler had some great engeneering. Chris
  23. Coming with Manual Trannies is not a bad thing. My 12 year old wants a beetle when she turns 16. I told her she would have to get a manual because VW's autotrajics are so bad. Chris
