  1. No Bubbas allowed. :AH-HA_wink:
  2. It's a vast Left Wing conspiracy, if you ask me.
  3. Texting is ridiculous. I have 450 minutes a month I can use on my cell phone. Last month I used like 52. What is so damned important? :angry old man smiley:
  4. The woman is a governor, for God's sake. Before Hillary Clinton was a senator, she had never been elected to anything, she was just an overstepping, meddling First Lady to a governor and then to a president. Let's have some naked sketches of Hillary Clinton up here! Oh wait, nevermind, I don't want to lose my lunch.
  5. But you're not discussing her CANDIDACY. You're discussing her ACCENT. You're discussing her T&A. You're discussing everything about her except for her positions on the issues. Not cool, people.
  6. I loved the Triple Treds on my truck, but so far I've got no complaints about the Contis. The dealership I bought it from fills all of their new inventory tires with nitrogen, does anyone know if the hype on this practice is true? We haven't been able to find a tire shop around here that offers this (we had a customer with an '08 Accent with nitrogen that needed a new tire, but couldn't find it). I am also looking at two styles of American Racing wheels: Aero in chrome, and Coil in chrome or painted. Does anyone have any recent experience with American Racing? Are they any good? They've been around forever.
  7. Cool mr. nice, I can't wait to see those pics.
  8. I was going to say "Happy Birthday, I Hope, I love your pancakes", but then I changed my mind, you might take it the wrong way. I hope you're both having a good one, sirs.
  9. HARRY! Where you been, you old pervert?
  10. Hmmm... you Dems bitched at me when I posted my reasons for voting McCain... saying I wasn't contributing to your pseudo-intellectual discussion. And look at you all now. I guess a double standard is perfectly OK when it comes to Governor Palin. How typically Democrat.
  11. mustang, that's a '73 Grand Ville convertible, not a '75. That Galaxie is very nice, but something seems off about some of the trim. Did Galaxies have hood ornaments and notchback roofs? I am not sure, as I'm not as "up" on Fords as I am GMs. Nice pics!
  12. It's a beautiful early Fall day, so I decided to pose my new Cobalt for some pictures to share: a little shy at first...
  13. Batman, they are referring to the finish on the wheels, see the "equal" sign?
  14. I always read that GMDAT had a substantial role in the development, with some input from GME.
  15. Nice vehicles. Nice vacation scenery. Nice yard. Nice sign in the yard.
  16. A Pontiac should have its own front and rear clips and interior. And be available in all the same bodystyles as the Chevy. It's the very least they can do for Pontiac. So now they're claiming Delta II was developed by GME and not GMDAT?
  17. It's good to read such news. I have a strong dislike for the Tundra, and to see it fail (nice spin Mr. Lentz) gives me hope for a renewed sanity in the American market. And yes, I agree with Satty, the Tacoma is too large to be considered "compact" anymore. Tundra should be dropped, and a new, truly compact, but conventional (NO A-BAT crap) small pickup should emerge. Of course, GM, Ford and Dodge should have something in the compact segment, too.

  19. Looks like Viper and Sixty8 went to the same party.
  20. I just wish he'd put more of his purported "heart" into his posts instead of so many of these -->
  21. Hey, that's a sweet little Salon in the ad. And of course it goes without saying, best to you and your wife on the new little person coming.
  22. It has a nice patina, Satty. Would you consider just replacing the functional parts it needs, and leaving the rest alone? I think your car is modeled after a Rambler American. It's cool. I had an electric, white Sting Ray... long gone. I also had a 60's style John Deere pedal tractor... it got dumped in the swamp on our farm.
  23. Funny they're putting style over function in a station wagon. Instead of making the taillights quarter panel-mounted so they'd be visible with the gate open or closed, the primary taillights are on the gate, so if extra-long objects need to be hauled with the gate open, they are worthless, requiring the extra complexity of TWO COMPLETE sets of taillights... extra wiring, bulbs, lenses, and robbing space for cargo. That's German engineering!
  24. Mr. Burns = Captain Obvious.
  25. Multiple Lambdas are taking over from multiple GMT360s. I'd still like to see a 5-seater Lambda, but I guess the redone Thetas will be pushed on customers who don't need 3 seats. Of course this also signals an industry-wide abandonment of BOF, truck-style SUVs.
