Ok wittle boy, so show me the immature post I made here ? Just qoute it and explain to me how it was "immature"
-
you got that right ! those people you are talking about, dont have a musical bone in their bodies, that is the problem, they are clueless, a real bunch of do ra me 's 4 great songs ruined by over play Stairway to Heaven Freebird Dead or Alive Sweet Child of Mine I will confess to continued replay of just the guitar solo to Stairway, way back, 4 years before its first radio "success"

Im with aaaantoine, were all syco if we give them the chance to eval us. In dire need of theropy. Depression sucks, life takes enthousiasm, thats why people should not go out of their way to take enthousiams from people. Steal their wind. After awhile you run out of teeth to kick out, then what ? Id be afraid of meds myself. Last year my towns superintendant of highways, had his meds switched and he took a gun to himself..................just great ! Most of us never knew and he was well liked and respected. Some people do have serious problems and others are just weary and "ran out of teeth to kick out". Theres a difference between being naturally sick and someone that has suffered too many failures and/or losses. All depends on his circumstances.

He did AC/DC, was the source of the once "new" sound of Def Lepard, I think even Foreigner but I might be confused and would not admit to any relations to Foriegner if I were him or anyone else........... Did you know he does back up vocal on Shanias albums..........yep, you can hear him, nothing special, subtle, thats what made him so good, its what you can't hear, less is more.
-
Name calling, some pretty inflamatory $h! for simply being asked whats your point. Which is never very clear, is this a trait of "S10" owners ?
-
It wouldnt load...................you gotta be kiddin me right ??????????/ I loved that guy, he was the real $h!, I always worried about this, say it aint so ?
-
OC, I obviously was not talking about you, I have a very good memory and you dont need to remind me of your experience(s). I have seen it posted on here that W body has never done anything but lost money. I have seen it repeatedly posted here as if W body was same exact car it was in 88. W body did outsell Camry last year, spin it all you want, it outsold. I dont need to hear that Camry made more money, that obvious, cheap labor, selling at MSRP, ect. Im simply talking about the fact that there is still some form of large popularity and pleasure in the car, somewhere throughout N.America and it aint all "rental". Impala is selling great around here, to we "ignorant", "inbred", "redneck", "whitetrash"............................in a land that is naturally hard on cars I can only wonder if we are "ignorant" or proud Americans unadorned by statis qou and recognize a great car ? Sorry to get ruff, but......... Im not saying there is any lack of Camrys, Accords and those damn Hyundias/Kias. Im sure some remember my post about the HUGE dealership that has the H U G E Aug. marathon for Hyundia, well thats once again just closed down and yep!............theres more of them than ever..........This year, beginning last week, the remaining Hyundia dealerships started advertising they are going to have a "Match any dealers lowest price sale"..................... Anybody getting the pic yet ? You know what manufacturers these "sales" are hurting right ? Im not saying W body does not need to be replaced. Im just a bit sick of the folklore and spin. I will say again as current owner of "Epilson" and former owner of W...........no comparision for front seat comfort or suspension ride and thats comparing a 200,000+ mile 1991 1st gen. monoleaf W to a brand dandy new "Epilson". Yes, some aspects of the chassis layout are better, tighter, stiffer, but over all from behind the steering wheel................NOT as comfortable of a car. It is far better quality/ride/handling than our old A body wagon winter car, better than the N body base loaner Alero I had, but sorry, its no W or H body. Both of which are "anchient" and one of which is extinct. You have no idea how much it hurts me to say this stuff too. I drove the "Epilson"car today, well, now the LSS is "mine" and Im so much happier to drive that "old" H body. My wife loves the new car and says it fits her like a glove..........well it dont fit me and Im not talking about size. There is some serious ergonomic seating/steering wheel/pedal/armrest placement issues and frankly Im disgusted. Seems some very important basics have suffered to appease this new definition of "proportions" and "space utilization". There is a couple of quick fixes for the problems but I doubt anything would be done in any less than 5 model years....................... Enough for now, I need to take this up with BOB himself with photos to show the problems............he'll probably shine it on and turn the other cheek. Im more anxious now than ever to drive a Solstice to see if they had the same overlook on that car as well. Position is everything.

Quincy Jones was no one hit wonder, thats for sure. Funny how some of these guys usually come in under the radar. Kinda like Mutt Lange.
-
I know Shadowdog, thats what I did for 20 years, I just loved it. I should have, BTW, said "We're all stupid" not "your all stupid" cause Ive done the same thing and actually get a bit annoyed if I dont get some OT because the paycheck sucks otherwise. Anybody remember the song Brother Jacob ? I bet Camino does ? One of my favorites, from one of my favorite records Head East / Flat as a Pancake

I had a friend that was only into "hits", very disturbing in the long term. He has a huge collection of CD's but will only listen to the one and only song off each one. Its a collection that dates from the 50's to the present. Ive tried to turn him on to something different, or even say "yea thats a good song but they also did this one" and play that track, and he'd stand there looking dead and annoyed...............thats so strange to me. It seems so narrow minded, Ive almost always listened to full recording, though I realize some "top fourty bands" never had anything more than one good song............thats why I dont own any of their stuff. Black Betty/Ram Jam.........thats one of those songs he has.......until recently I always thought that was Golden Earing, cause it sounds just like them. You could play Radar Love and Black Betty back to back and think it was on the same recording. Holy Diver - I like the entire recording but it was only borrowed, that is another one I need to get, its been years since I heard it. That was Vivian Campbell on guitar, another one of the pioneer metal axeman. So many of the greatest songs have been ruined by overplay.

Buddy, you're starting to piss me off. I don't have an "S-10 dress code." But I know for certain not all S-10 owners live on a f@#king farm and wear cowboy hats. I personally would like to avoid the ranch hand/redneck/white trash stigma that some truck owners usually get. Get it asshole? Don't start a pissing match with me. 188650[/snapback] I guess the guy should be dressed up in a three piece ? I never noticed any stereo type surrounding pickups, but hey, its your story and apparently you believe there is one.

OK.........apart from the lines.................Im still clueless

Sounds like a cool car AR05 but also remember the guy is a used car dealer. 134,000 was alot of miles on a car back in the 60's. Rough roads, lower quality oil, no high pressure car washs. But still it sounds in really nice condition. I usually spend most of my time crawling around underneath and ignoreing any and all talk the person selling is dealing. The undercarriage almost always tells the truth, but some people are great at covering up much with thick undercoat. Im not sure if a car with that high of mileage will actually appreaciate. It seems only the cars that were never driven have great value and whats the fun in that. This pricing seems about typical for older high mileage cars in good shape these days. Someone buying a kinda ratty car and fixing it up to the state you say this car is in could easily spend that much and more doing so. So yea, if a good crawl underneath proves positive this is the best route to take with an old car. He'll probably put it up on a lift for you.

I like it ! and if I like it..............its gotta be GRRRREAT ! OK ? Now stop the little bitch act fellows............................ silvester - you aint old enough to know anything about Lucas electrics........so stop repeating everything you hear like the rest of the know it alls on C&G and every other car forum Ive visited. I had the headlight switch on my Chrysler burn out and leave me stranded at night. Been stranded in my 86 GMC Brig..........at night due to electrical, I have to play around with the dist. on my 65 GMC everytime it sits for a few weeks without running, Ive had every fan switch on my GMs act up and only give me one speed. I had a 9 year old Impala that was the biggest pile of tired iron Ive ever owned, I have a FWD Olds that is 10 years old and if not for some little witch would still be looking as great as it runs, rides, drives and handles, I have one FWD Olds thats 17 years old with 340,000 miles that does actually look as good as it runs and drives.......Ive had Frigidairs and various General Electric go bad, various washers and dryers, hundred of pounds of Jap TV's and stereos thrown out, ect. ect. ect. ...........same damn $h! all the Lucas jokes have been based on. Stop critizing others peoples cars as the only answer to someone not finding something you like less than appealing. Every other word in most of your posts is POS this and POS that................its visibly clear you can dish it out but cant take 25% of what you give back.............. saying something about how Satty makes a living really sets you and your current state of affairs up for a serious bash, which I would not stoop to do, but in a sence just did. You really need to do some interspec, life gets very short very quick.
-
yea.............I noticed................
-
I tried playing my "Presto" tape, last summer, its shot. I kinda liked it but am still held by "Caress of Steel" something about a bands first stuff and the first impression you have of them.
-
What are you saying............Powerglide ? My 68 had 307/powerglide, it was milked and by far the worst car I ever owned. A $75 special back in 77........... I got a speeding ticket in it...........66 in a 55. We think nothing of going this fast today but back then cops were real "rednecks". I was going so "fast" because the hill I just climbed............I only managed 35 mph. It really was milked out.
-
Blonds, G6C, MILF's, Camaros...................its all good, straight or all messed up.
-
yep, Ive done a bunch of those myself. Just finished restoreing much of an old farm house before this job. wood floors, bath remodel, kitchen, foundation work. Now if only I had some skills......................... Ive found I much rather work for someone else now, without the complications. After the burn I took for devoteing 20 of my most vital years to an industry moved south of the border and also manipulated by state employed foresters (well protected, blanketed, clueless & careless about the reality of making profit for ones investment ), Ive found myself unfaithful that these kinds of efforts can possibly pay off. I guess you could call it gun shy. speaking of guns...................still have a few bugs to work out on the Vaporizer...........
-
Whats the matter, not room for the two of us.......................If you werent always riding it I might not have asked the "hard" questions you seem to have a problem answering.................wait............I see..............you have an S10 dress code............oh, makes perfect sence now.............
-
These are nice in black, for the type of car they are. Im seeng a few around this summer, must be the second buyers. Still not the car the 71-76 B body GM were.

Well you know Blu, if it looks like something you like, thats all the counts. Personalized vehicals have character. Your ideas sound pretty good to me. ? - are you saying 15" truck tires are becoming hard to come by ?
