  2. I knew you'd be on that one :AH-HA_wink: awsome double stop guitar work
  3. Heres one I took to along time ago, recited it for some English project. pre-rap rap from one of the origionals Down the street you can hear her scream "you're a disgrace" as she slams the door in his drunken face' and now he stands outside and all the neighbors start to gossip and... drool He cries "oh girl, you must be mad. what happened to the sweet love you and me had ?" against the door he leans and starts a scene, his tears fall and burn the garden green and so castles made of sand, fall into the sea eventually A little Indian brave who before he was ten played war games in the woods with his Indian friends and he built a dream that when he up he would be a fearless warrior, Indian Chief many moons passed and more the dreams grew strong, until tomorrow he would sing his first war song and fight his first battle, but something went wrong surprise attack killed him in his sleep that night and so castles made of sand, melts into the sea eventually there was a young girl, whose heart was a frown because she was crippled for life and couldnt speak a sound and she wished and prayed she could stop living so she decided to die she drew her wheelchair to the shore and to her legs she smiled "you wont hurt me no more" but then a sight she'd never made her jump and say "look a golden winged ship is passing my way" ...and it really didnt have to stop... ...it just kept on going... and so castles made of sand slips into the sea eventually from - Axis Bold as Love - '67
  4. Its interesting that the design layout is similar but they do not look the same by any means. The grills and nose treatment on most all 50-early 60's car's is their down side to me. Never like them. The rest of the styling was so nice, I just dont look them in the face.
  5. Well Deftones got me go'in on these videos. This is my favorite band Savatage. Yea their old but this was in 87, from "Gutter Ballet" their 5 or 6th release. Forgive me if you guys have seen these videos, I rarely watched or watch MTV so I have seen very few. THis is a ballad of sorts but not "love", its about the feelings of a stage performer after the curtain draws closed for what may be the last time. Dont judge it from the opening. Simple song but from the heart, more commercial than most of their stuff. These guys were as much pioneers of "heavy metal" as Metalica or Iron Maiden - debut in 1983. But they have been too overlooked in my opinion. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=19...=Savatage&hl=en for something heavier try Gutter Ballet http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=45...=Savatage&hl=en or "Jesus Saves" from "Streets - a rock opera" http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2...=Savatage&hl=en
  6. Now this comment following the rant preceding it, is a perfect example of whats wrong with the human race............."Whenever there's a tangental thread like this, it truly reveals the level of ignorance some of you are capable of." Im getting dizzy here, circles, circles like a merry-go-round Enzl I can tell you've never encounter a delusional feminaz repressed lesbian off her meds, or in her cycle...or what ever her issues may be. They really do exist dude. I had one destroy my family, its wasnt us either, since Dad died I have, on occasion visited some of his people, neighbors and school faculty, and the topic of "Peg" always seems to pop up...and not by me. I was surprised but also found some peace in the fact that others had observed or been victims of her behavior. She taught at an all girls college (Siena) got pissed and quit after after it went co-ed started fierce arguements at every Christmas and Thanksgiving diner......always about "worthless men". I called it "Verbal Harlem". I told my father after the last diner I could tolerate "Dad, Id rather take my chances walking through Harlem at midnight than do another Christmas" She had horrendous "Bobed" hair She was extremely intellegent...yet had no control Yea, she married a man, my father...to get his inheritance...nearly cleaned out our local retired Doctor after Dad, he finally saw the light and dumped her but was a bit short in the wallet. She was a feminaz repressed lesbian on a mission. My first encounter, now I can spot them easily, they do exist. Im sure there are perfectly nice la femme Lesbians but these feminazi are like cyborgs and you can not defeat them, they have super human powers of driven, evil, rotten, relentless, no regrets psychological terror. I could easily KILL one (one in particular) and be found laughing like an idiot, guilt free over the bloody corpse...................
  7. Thanks OC ! I knew a little encore would get him back on the stage
  8. Um......Rob.....were you talking about me ?
  9. No ! Not another gay thread !.........No ! NOt Lesbians !.........No ! Not Bull Dykes !.....NO! Not feminazi repressed lesbian bulldykes !........they scare the hell out of me............"Mommy, Mommy !.......help ! theres a repressed lesbian comming at me with her mouth rippin and tearing my repressive macho worldly ways apart". How dare me bust my ass all my life for peanuts and misery when there are so many women out there better than me that deserve more....... OK, I got my slice in, felt good for a minute, now Ill go back to my meager life and hang my head in shame for being born with balls and no brain......

So if I get white pony over there it wont be all cut up ? I see that verse approach very similar to RATM either way. I just wanted ot point it out, I was not crying "rip off" or anything. So "In Utero" is the newest one ? I'll listen to more tomorow night. Those two took awhile. Then I found a Symphony X and it took along time. This is one type of heavy music I crank out, down in the shop while molesting cars. Michael Romeo plays a larger variety of notes, time signatures and modes in the first 2 1/2 minutes than the entire Nickleback and Nirvana collection put together, but somehow Im alright with that. Russel Allen is considered by their fan base and many to be one of the best vocalists in this genre, but here live and obvoiusly getting older seems to stuggle some for the top of his range and general feel and melody, but.....oh well........the studio recordings are awsome. AND YES this music does give most people headaches, at least thats what they tell me:lol: The anti Grunge, from The Odyssey '02 based on some old writting called "The Odyssey" http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2...ymphony+X&hl=en Thanks for the link to this video thing BTW..........I had no idea.

"Be Quite and Drive" This is more commercial, probably pushed by some producer, he seems stressed about the singing performance. The first guitar change up emphasizes on that Smashing Pumpkins "note", once again the riffs do not reach very far. He can sing but not like Geoff Tate or Ray Alder. I dont understand the little fit in there but he was definantly feeling something. What I like most about this music is the drum groove. The beats uses are much better than constant double bass drum metal and far better than pop metal in my opinion. Think Ill pop in my Gamalon CD
  12. Wait......I forgot to give you something...........Lets Booooogie............
  13. Thank goodness, hes finally "growed up"..............
  14. He finally got back to me on the letter (PM) I wrote back at the end of the big WWIII ! Im glad, I was worried he would not......... anyhow He seemed OK and wrote a great letter So now all we need to do is get him to come back........so everyone, hold your lighter in the air or open your cell phone and hold it over your head and chant OC ! OC ! OC ! OC !
  15. Hey now ! I have a FT Woody !......................
  16. Were'nt the Sevilles all 4dr ? They never effected me but this car looks better. Now that era of Bonneville or early 80's not sure of changes - still gives me the creeps. I think the 73-76/77 depending on model, GM's, still had some nice sheet metal, you just have to over look the bumpers and engine output.

Well "7 words" just failed.........that was some pretty silly stuff. Good groove, excellent bass lines, great drum cadence in the opening, had some of that limited reach on guitar someone mentioned. The vocalists verse approach sounded a bit like that guy from ......Rage Against the Machine, right ? The "chorus" was really, really, deep, progressive and catchy...... and the bridge, he wanted someone to die because they didnt know him ? Not really bad, Im just bustin in a critical way, dont think I want to purchase it though. now loading "Be Quite and Drive"
  18. Gee, we couldnt disagree more on this one. This car does look nice though. I dont think the 1st Sevilles were nice at all but I liked few cars from this era anyhow. Too "boxy" for me, Rivieras, LeSabres, Cutlass, very little appreaciation from me, gotta be pre 77. AND I like the whitewall but would really like to see gangster whites, like a 2" wide white wall. For Domestic styling from these times I probably like a few of the Chryslers more ?
  19. Thats gotta be something by the Boz............. I dont belive Ive heard it. Its called "The Main Line" by Refrain
  20. Yea but I think they will always haunt you. I pretty much gave up in the spring after the paint on the LSS was ruined. Here I had all these projects that were makeing little headway just on account of the work I put into the 4......yes 4....that are on the road. Then the LSS needed a whole paint job and my heart was just gone..........So I got rid of most of the projects and bought the G6. At first I felt a weight was lifted but now its like I threw my soul in the garbage. I have spent the past 4 weekends (part time) on front brakes, tires, rear brake cleaning on LSS, and brake lines and electric door locks on 90 Regency. Theres only so much time with 50+ hr work weeks, and house/home projects, plus goofing off. Between the paint on the LSS The new dent in the hood of the freshly painted Ciera Disatisfaction with the GTP Electric door locks with a substance abuse problem on the just nearly renewed Regency The dent on the roof on the renewed 86 LeSabre coupe Storage charges on the 75 Delta 88 Royale convertable A complete total project for the Scorpion and neverending house projects yea....Im a bit sick of it dont mean to be so negitive......but........ ......... ..........
  21. Its a good lyric, too, positive, looking forward. I was thinking today......guitar player on Holy Diver was Vivian Campbell......does that count
  22. Im more with RBB, its a A4 with Volvo nose. Looks like GM is still alive and well at Fiat. Day late and dollar short.........or is that 4years late and 12,000 short.......

I saw a copy of White Pony last night in Walmart but it said "edited", so I passed, I actually dont know what an "edited" CD sounds like..........what is there a big skip or something........ There was some Nirvan too but I figured I didnt buy them in the early 90's why start now ? What about "Dragonforce" ? I almost grabed that but was unsure. I have to check tonight but I read Dragon(something or other) was pretty awsome. I just dont want to wind up with some recording thats all growling vocals. These songs are taking awhile......could someone else check Amazon.com and explain to me why, just this weak, instead of samples simply playing on our windows media player like it was. A little screen pops up and says "connecting" and "done" at the same time and nothing happens, ever. Is it our computer or did Amazon just mutate ?

Never heard of them. Ill check it out. Um.........Im having a bit of a problem with this so called argument first there was nothing to argue about, just simple facts. I was just posting on this thread, and next thing I know Im getting attacked because I have no problem with Nickleback...........like, hey, just read back and then explain to me what I said that warranted the $h! written by Yellowjacket ? ? ? ? Maybe Im a little more observant than others but it seems to me theres some bully / anger issues going on with this dude........Like someone needs to get a grip. There was no apology and who wants ones. The attitude and approach of the posts speak for themselves......theres something wrong going on in there. I sure hope no one would think I'd come home at night to find a speal like that thrown at me and just ignore it......hell with a WTF on the side. Its still funny as hell though now Im moving on.........or so I hope........we'll see
  25. seriously I have some wicked mental blocks..........like my spelling problem, remembering peoples names, sometimes I cant finish sentences or even conversations. short term memory loss.
