  1. This one may be back on the front burner.
  2. Not looking good. The title is AWOL, and there may be other problems that would hold up a transfer. Crap. May not happen after all.
  3. Could be. But the impression was made.
  4. Literally? No. But the sentiment itself certainly came off as quite nasty, and frankly, I was shocked that you would say such a thing. As for what I do, or do not, advocate politically - I doubt that you actually know what that is.
  5. I absolutely love this. Bravo!
  6. This simple truth seems to escape those in power. Pathetic.
  7. Here's the difference, I would have helped him put out the fire without asking for any bonifides. And I most certainly wouldn't dance in the ashes of someone else's life. And guess what? I'm a libertarian.
  8. This speaks volumes...
  9. Externally, the 3-series seems just about the right size. However, I found the cockpit to be rather cramped (especially in the footwell). Not a car I'd be happy with on a daily basis.
  10. Sometimes you just have to do what's right and sort the rest out later.
  11. Leaving political cheap shots and assumptions aside, I just know one thing for certain: There is no way, had I been a firefighter, that I could have stood by and watched that happen. Sounds like the dynamics of local stupidity to me.
  12. At the moment it has no heat (separate issue), and air is not being re-directed to the defroster vents.
  13. Unfortunately, no.
  14. I think I'll dig into the upper dash/IP before anything else - the previous owner was a hack and put in an aftermarket stereo (that barely functions). I want to make sure he didn't screw-up the connections at the HVAC controls.
  15. LOL Arkus is the only one that causes trouble since he insists on sticking his nose right up to the windsheild - Zora just sits in the back like a good dog.
  16. Thanks, Ocn. Arkus is fogging up the winsheild when he rides with me on these rainy days, so yeah, it has to be dealt with. HVAC systems are another planet for me - especially all electric ones. I may fiddle with it on sunday. I don't think the harness is the problem. I think it is one of the control modules.
  17. ...kinda wish I hadn't. It has HVAC issues, and everything is electrical. I may actually pay someone else to figure it out...
  18. Harsh.
  19. ...or Americans just prefer larger cars.
  20. The Olds nose was a bit different.
  21. Quite true. One could make the case that the Olds was the most interesting of the pre-LT1 cars.
  22. Will they be classics? Sure, in a "that's a neat old car" sort of way. But never in a "My God, that's a real Hemicuda" kind of way. The Impala SS is somewhere in between.
